The Tokyo Drift tie-in game on PS2 was probably one of the few movie games I've played that were actually good. But it reminded me of the Tokyo Xtreme Racer games and I like that series, so maybe I'm a bit biased.

Activision did publish some of the Quake games, Doom 3 (not as good as classic Doom, but not bad), Spider-Man 2 (though the PC version was bad), Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Rome: Total War. They haven't done anything good recently though.

I feel like some games he can only see the slightly bad things and then magnifies them by 1000 and in other games he sees the kinda good things and praises them.
Well, there can't not be a physics engine because there are collisions, but the physics engine essentially says everything but the player is made of Styrofoam so you can smash through anything except the walls which are GOD and break ANYTHING!
