Meet Brent at a meet and greet during the Crack the unheavely skye tour a few years back,he is really a cool dude...takes time to take a personal pic with fans and actually answers questions too. On top of that he is a guitar God!!!
I came across these lads when they were Four Hour Fogger in 1997 ATL. I was just a senseless city kid. Thanks Brent for not letting my teeth get kicked in. Sorry about pissing in your van. Sorry Bones for pissing on you. Happy for your success mate! -Rudi
Love that Brent needs an unconventional setting and a fellow colourful character to be real. Always cool to see that side of him, obviously got a lot of soul to be able to conjure those beautiful solo lines. Living legend obv
He seems to be pretty wild and rough to deal with when drunk. I saw a vid where his monitor wasn’t working and he yelled at his sound guy and then kicked the monitor and threw it off stage into the crowd
Dude is the most 'regular guy' in the biz....just awesome and overwhelming talent!! Love his take on Eric Johnson and Bonamassa...no grit, it aint dirty and Brent needs the nasty!
I did a lesson with him on the last tour. He’s not a evh fan. Doesn’t do finger tapping. He didn’t slam evh, just said it wasn’t his deal. Thought that was interesting
Your knowlege and interviewing skills are amazing Brother!!! THE NICEST and most GENIUNE guy in Music!!! Love you my friend!!! Will let ya know about that strap :D
🤘😎🤘wow----- this podcast--show just keeps climbing higher and higher!!!,,great episode again..i saw the original line up of slayer in 2007,,,MASTODON were support ,on the amazing blood mountain album ,,to be honest ,i was there to see MASTODON,,no disrespect to SLAYER,,thanks again from Australia for one of the best shows on the tube
Damn dude I could probably sit right in with Brent's band. I've got behind the set for lots of bands in the 90's when the Drummer smoked out. His style, good old fashioned jamming is my thing.
I memorized the Stranglehold 8track when I was 15 to 16. One of the first that I could play every single song flawlessly on the drums. I could only pick out little bits on the guitar. Yeah I own about 6 or so guitars but I AM a drummer.
I think Tim sults Vneck SG was a custom thing a friend of his made, I could be wrong. It was up for sale in one of the clutch FB groups and when I found out it went for 3500!! I was bummed cuz I could have actually got it, I just assumed the dude would want more lol
@@ColinTiptonHouston from the 80-late 90s was killer. With the death of Fitz, Axiom, The Abyss, Mary Janes, etc etc it seems like it’s a corporate Hell Hole now.
Brent u need a drummer I’m down. I love fiend. Burnt Reynolds. Tsunami. Cowboy Skillet. Heartache. Love it all. Love WEM. Need more product. Love your shit brother👊🏿🤘🏿👊🏿🤘🏿
Yeah I used to like Rice Radio. It's been a while. Also U of H radio...not so much since they hung up the classical music. I used to like KPFT until they got so hatefully political that it made me want to puke out my asshole. I still like TSU's Jazz station. It is phenomenal. Sometimes they play some jazz that is soooo sexy that you gotta call your girl in to have a listen. lol
