I don't think 'quite a few' Lincoln Futuras were made. There was only one, which was built as a concept car in 1955. George Barris had a further 4 Batmobiles made, 3 of which were 1966 Ford Galaxies with Fibreglass bodies, the 4th was based on a 58 Ford Thunderbird.

The TBird based BATMOBILE was a confiscation from a Midwest builder, sat in The side yard until 1984 when Bob Butts from San Diego bought it. His shop restored it and the cycle to very high standard.

I knew George and Dick Dean and Dean Jeffries amongst other sellers. Dean Jeffries detested George for buying his cars from the production companies and passing them off as his own. He would scream hearing you call the Monkeemobile a Barris design.
By the way I restored Turbo Sonic and Dick Dean designed and built the car for a local celebrity.
By the way, it does not run, the motor is too dangerous to start.
