- I have seen the video of this concert on RUclips for a long time, but there were problems in it with the synchronization of sound and video, and I decided to mount video of this concert - that's what happened, I hope you will like it. Unfortunately in the last two songs (encores) there were a lot of loss of sound, but since I was working with the finished video, I could not fix it - sorry

Early 90's Allan played with Gary in the back of a little family mexican restaurant in San Bernardino CA. No stage or lights or PA. Set up on the floor in the corner. No drum mics only acoustic. Allan and the bass player had their amps. The dining tables right up to the band 2 feet away. Everyone eating their quesadillas beans and rice while the band played. Was like a garage band set up... The best damn garage band you ever heard
This guy was always aware of what he was doing, fucking treated the guitar neck like a keyboard, jumping and skipping anywhere he feels with equal touch and intonation for every note. Fucking untouchable
When you’re sitting in front of a 500 carat diamond in your local bar and don’t even realize it. The genius of AH is almost unfathomable, incomprehensible. Truly mind boggling, it’ll never happen again, at least for another hundred years.
Gary Husband is the definition of talent. An immensely gifted musician
I was at that show …saw some other well known musicians there too watching Alan
Interesting... who was there?
As far as AH bootlegs go, this one is absolutely stunning. Gary is a monster - you can see just how much AH is into his playing. The maestro Mr Holdsworth is on fire and interpreting the songs in such a refreshing way. Jimmy as usual, solid as a rock. Thanks so much for your re-edit. This is priceless!
He is always terrific, but damn Mr.Husband was on fire that night!
GH is England's response to America's Buddy Rich.
Both outstanding top notch innovators!
Also Chad Wackerman did some great jam sessions with AH
Ухх, один из самых любимых лайвов!
Thank You! RIP ALLAN HOLDSWORTH 🙏
Nice video! I was right there :)
What you have as “Zone II” is actually “The Things You See”
And "Zone I" is "Madame Vintage".
This is so cool. I've heard that The Baked Potato holds about 100 people at most. Kind of like New George's in San Rafael, CA. I saw Allan there so many times, and like most jazz shows, you get to hang out with the band at the bar and talk.
Simple there are people who have another level of comprehension like AH , Trane and Jaco
Thank you!
Thank you very much
Stunning - thanks!!!
2:29 Allan’s first little eyebrow raising lick if the gig

Espetacular
Often imitated but never equaled…
Great lighting!....Did you use the lighting director from The Godfather?
It is a bar. Get over yourself and listen.
The One Who dislikes the video..i want to know why...and i want to know if he realized that Is One among 203......don't think so..
Is this Popular Music??
I'd guess it doesn't appeal that much to the average Joe. It's not the Eagles. I think some people build up a certain appreciation for this music especially musicians who develop an appreciation for the skill and knowledge involved. It's not Van Halen doing "Hot for Teacher." It's not ZZ Top's Tush. Different music for different people.
Nah it’s too harmonically sophisticated
It's no pop music but it is populair in some circles.
Yes überpopular😱✨️
This is Van Halen's favorite player... does that help you?
