great bike ... nice job!! just note that the closed end of the spring clip on the master link should be mounted forward, ie the forward direction of the chain
Good to see. I've just acquired a later version from the recycling yard. It has the derailleur gears with the gear change lever on the handle bar mounting post. It also has full metal fenders, which I like, and is painted the usual Raleigh metallic brown with white on the taillight area. It didn't come with a chain guard , although I could take one from my parts bike. Instead there's a metal ring between the gear wheel and the pedals. If I strip the paint to repaint it, where do I get the new decals and the correct shade of paint?
A reason I never buy restored things is that this bike would have been built with 25 or 26 x 2 loose 5/32" balls in those head set races. Otherwise a nice vid.
Beautifully made video. Lowered my blood pressure. Fun to watch and informative. Thanks!

It's all beautiful, but what's the point in microscopic mudguards?

Super classy! 👍
Nice! I've just acquired one, a later version with derailleur gears. I hope it looks as good as yours when I've restored it.
it's very difficult restoration 😨. congratulations to you my friend

The best video I have seen. Very clearly put things together! Can I ask where to buy older Raleigh parts? Thanks
