People make mistakes. It happens. I think a mash-up would be great! Viking has done Amy and Dan doing "Bring Me to Life" in a mash-up. I think you could probably get permission to do this one, as well, without a problem. Check with Carlo (Viking), to see about that.
I really would like to send the link to Dan's version to my brother (who still lives in Valdez, Alaska). His wife passed away about 1-1/2 years ago, now. He's doing well, but sometimes...sigh. The circumstances in the song are so very similar to what he went through, actually, after a period of her doing the same for him, when HE was in danger of dying. I keep thinking the song would minister to him, but on the other hand, I'm afraid to send the link.

Dan doesn't do copyrights, and he has been okay with several other mash-ups. You should do it.
Thanks for reacting to this gem by Dan Vasc. It is so well sung, and yes, a mash up with Amy Lee would be amazing. I would love for you to react to Dan singing Sleeping Sun by Nightwish. It got took down for a copyright issue, but Karla Bessa downloaded it before it was removed, and many reactors and played and reacted to it. It is my favorite Dan song, and I like it just as much and maybe better than Nightwish's version. I always look forward to your reactions and, I, too, forgive you for your slip up. We're all human and it happens.

Hey, Sandy, I saw Pat Boone in concert back in the early 70s and even kissed him on the cheek. It surprised me so much that I said, "I'll never wash these lips again!" He laughed. I can't imagine Dan singing "April Love," but I'd swoon like a teen if he did.😂
