I saw this at my local friendly board game store and was intrigued. Thanks for the video! I'm excited for the next one and I wonder if we'll have any crossover games.
Thanks for the video and the effort you put into it - I really enjoyed it! Q: When explaining rewards during second night, you said that a player wouldn't be able to use rewards from the previous night. However, I saw somewhere that you are still able to catch up with the requirements for the first night in your second night, therefore you can still get a 'delayed' reward. Which is correct?
Hello! First of all it's my pleasure and I'm so happy you liked the video.. it's the best compliment I can have 😊 Regarding the rules: On page 12 (english version) it states: "However you can only gain rewards for your current night, and not from any other nights even if you meet their requirements." So for me it means that you can't get a delayed reward. On the other hand, I follow the printed rulebook. So if there was a correction or some sort of errata that Studio Midhall published- it's not in my video. I would recommend to check their website. I hope I helped a bit! Thanks for asking me and for watching the video ☺
Good video thanks. Will be playing this tomorrow for the first time. To help the Beast player track movement I put some dryerase film on the minimap, so we can use a marker to track each step.
Yeah! That's awesome! I don't really get how to play without it.. Thanks for commenting on the video! How many players are you going to be? Let me know how it went- I'm interested in your opinion :)
@@ezbgames we played 4 players last night, in the recommended setup, and we all enjoyed it. The Hunters all managed their movement well, but felt the lack of search cards keenly, and the Beast was certainly more mobile than them. It ended up winning on Day Four with all upgrades activated. Looking forward to another game
@@SholtoAtIncunabulum Oh nice!! So it was suspenseful all the way to the very end.. You'll see that if you continue with the same group of people for a few more games, the game will become more challenging. May I ask how long did it take you? Was the down-time for the beast a bit tiring or the game had a good flow? Thank you for sharing with me! Super happy you enjoyed it 😊
@@ezbgames The downtime was fine - didn't notice it at all, really, since the Beast player is keenly interested in the other player's choices, to put it mildly!
To be honest I don't mark the 'no movement' but if I had to, I guess I would have just put another token (maybe a green/blue one..?) next to the place that I stayed in. What do you think? 😊
Thanks for the video. Can I ask: how would it be possible fore the Beast to claim the First Night reward, when you can only do 1 damage on the first turn? How would it ever be possible for you to kill 2 sheep on the first turn?
It has been a while since I've played, but from what I remember, the requirement is not to kill 2 sheeps during the first TURN, but to kill 2 sheeps during the first DAY. So lets break it down: Dawn phase: you're drafting cards. Day phase: players are taking turns executing the actions on the cards. Lets say that during this phase you managed to kill 2 sheeps. Night phase: the players are looking to see if they have met the conditions. If you have killed two sheeps, you will get the reward. Is that a better explanation? Let me know if it wasn't clear and I will try a different approach 😊
Thank you 😊 So, on page 13 of the English rulebook, under the section Upgrades you can see that the yellow upgrades are only a one time (per game) upgrades. "Yellow upgrades, however, are a one time effects that resoove only once and immediately after they are unlocked" That is atleast what I understand 😊
A great refresher course. I played this a few months ago and forgot a bunch of things.
The pleasure is all mine!
Glad you found the video useful 😊
Great video. Definitely answered a few questions I had after reading through the instructions. Thank you!
Hi Seth!
I'm really happy you liked the video!
How do you find the game? Do you think you'll pledge for the expansion?

Mike!! 😊
Yeah that would be super interesting..
I'll probably release it till the end of the weekend.

Ma kore Asaf? Do you use some upgrade pack for the components? most videos have cardboard standees but yours are plastic somehow
Ahalan Kfir 🤩
If I'm not mistaken, this is the deluxe version that has the acrylic tokens..
Also the metal coins are an upgrade.
@ezbgames oh I see it was a deluxe exclusive looks pretty good 👍
Good explanation of the game, the most detailed I've seen

No worries 😊

Yellow upgrades used once per day? or once per game?
Hello!
Can you please refer to the time stamp please..?
I'm sorry it has been a minute since I last played ;)
