I hope so : ) . If you know any fans of dac who you think will also be interested in this, then please share this vid. Yes it is Narnia music - not a Narnia fan myself, but this track was one I have been wanting to use for a while. : )
Misty mountains also got punted out but not before exilling imladris. I liked how isengard had the ring for half the game but it went to mordor anyways

What i really don't like in some way about DaC AI is how the Elves are just way too passive, you never see them doing anything or conquering stuff like the other factions, they just sit on the same spot for like a eternity and once every 50 turns they capture something, Imladris specially just sits in their same regions for the entire game, in all my campaigns they never really expanded that much, even though the Elves have the strongest armies in the game and should pose a threat to the player, they never expand too much to actually become a BIG THREAT to the player.
It seems like dwarves are even stronger at auto resolve in 2.2. Enedwaith aggressive early on and beaten later, as usual. It seemed to me that Khand turned against Mordor (script from 2.0 IIRC). The easts has always been the bad guys land, no contention there but the west seems quite a bit weaker lately (except the dwarves ofc).
I make the rebels playable in the descr_strat file and auto-resolve every battle. To record: I take a screenshot of the map at the end of every turn, and put them together as a slideshow.

The reason why Hornburg is almost always the last settlement Rohan has is because autoresolve for Hornburg is just disgusting. Never autoresolve if you're attacking it. They get I believe 6 units of Defenders and the autoresolve realy favors the defending army there.
@@MelkorGG The AI is really bad at finishing of other factions. The small village in central rhovanion north of Logarth was the last Dorwinion region for 50 turns.. surrounded by Rhun and Mirkwood which they were at war with. And they did nothing besides standing there. They had a small force in the village and a small army in the northeast of that region. Rhun and Mirkwood didn't bother and just left them alone. That example was from my campaign. Not this timelapse.
Watch it again, but this time focus on the amazing comeback of Dunland Vs Enedwaith and other neighbouring opponents. : )
I was rooting for the Dwarves of Erebor RIP
Another will come eventually - got a lot on the list so far though, so don't know when.
@RisingSun BOOM : ruclips.net/video/Y9WPMpBxBM0/видео.html : )
Prepare to get a bunch more views on this one. The dac community is pretty huge.
Also Narnia music?!!?!?!? BLASHEMY TO ERU

Thanks, I did not expect to get this so soon after inquiring
Thank you. :)
You've been churning out videos at quite a high rate mate :-D

Great job man
Thanks : )

I was trying to keep up with the video and looking at everywhere, but I couldnt XD
XD I usually end up watching them 4 times through : )
Could you give a short explanation on how you run the campaign with just AI please?

@@MelkorGG And how do you avoid the rebels being wiped out, since that's what usually happens pretty early on?
@@wolfwarlordjake8992 You don't. If Rebels lose all settlements and armies, you can still play as them - no campaign lost message.
could you do the total war mod for divide and conquer so there are no alliances and instant wars
total war submod
It will come someday. I have a long list so it might have to be scheduled for 2019, but it will come. : )
Can't wait!
I thought that was turkey at first on the thumbnail
since when does Khazad-dum kill Imladris :D
Xd I have no idea. When you leave the ai to itself it does weird stuff, super aggressive papal states, successful Selucids in Rome Tw, etc...
i was wondering the same imladris is almost always safe
Can you make for DaC v3?
Thanks.

Enjoy : )
Narnia music really?
As I've said to somebody else, I'm not a Narnia fan myself, but this track was a good one. : )
Sisas pa
How do you do this? Did you use console command or modded your way around it.

I thought eventually the ai would send 2 stacks there and take it. But yeah, your right, with 1 stack it will, probably, never happen.

Interesting to see Mithlond fall to the Adunaim.
Yeah, I was not expecting that one. I am new to the version 2 edition, does the Adunaim usually do crazy stuff like that?
That's a scripted invasion (happens around turn 90 ish)
Ahh. Thanks. I forgot about invasions.
Oh yeah, I remember now, thanks.
Melkor not invasions in the crusad-ey sense. Its an attack where boats spawn with full stacks and force-attack Mithlond.
what abut difficulty ?
Every timelapse I have ever done is on Very hard Difficulty.
Rohan played by AI is comical...
