How are you controlling the auto transmission? I thought you needed the stock throttle to control it?

From what I’ve seen it’s the MAF that controls the auto trans, I use a boomslang harness so I can use the stock ECU to handle the trans, gauge cluster, etc and my haltech to just worry about the motor

I’m trying to use my FFIM but everywhere I’ve seen says I need to use the stock throttle body. I’m building my engine for my 99 gs300

@@Diabetic_Deity I’m still using a stock TPS sensor so maybe that’s peoples concerns? Because i haven’t had any trouble, it’ll get rid of EGR stuff but it still uses vacuum lines and and stock sensors.., The only other thing I can think of also would your IAC on the bottom, but as long as it’s all connected I don’t see why it’d be a problem

@@GrizzlyGarage I think there is a motor that helps with throttle control on the stock TB and most people have run into issues when that’s not connected I think. Maybe I’m wrong but I would like to use my FFIM I don’t want to have to get rid of it until I go manual swap the AT

@Diabetic_Deity ahhh I see, yeah I’m not 100% certain then 😂 like the only problems I have with my trans is the same problems it had before I did all the work to it. So I’m already planning no Manual swapping mine
