  • A look at the Six Moon Design Flex PR packraft bag | MRS Minnow Packraft
Ive been searching for a bag perfectly suited for packrafting for a few years and i've been hovering over buying this one for a while and glad I did.
The Six Moon Design Flex PR is designed specifically for packrafters.
The Flex Pack PR is designed to handle the 50L dry bag included, 70L optional extra dry bag, or the popular portage barrels.
It has adjustable compression straps to help compress and stabilize any load. Dual removable side pockets are great for water bottles. Stash snacks, a rain jacket, or other gear securely in the zippered large gusseted front stash pocket.
The removable bottom stabilizer straps are perfect for packrafters using portage barrels and help ensure heavy loads ride easily. It even has an eight-inch wide stash pocket running the length of the pocket perfect for stowing a paddle.
The harness and Hip strap comes in 3 sizes. The harness has small pockets for small gear whilst the Hip strap is really supportive and has a zippered pocket on both sides.

The MRS Minnow is a great ultralight packraft. It retails at £510.00 and is a great ultralight weight packraft perfect for short duration paddling or a quick river crossing.
The Minnow is an ultra light packraft which focusses on keeping weight to a minimum whilst maintaining a comfortable paddling position. Using ultra-thin fabric, the packraft is only 1.86kg (white) or 2.12kg (olive) when equipped with the skeg and packs impressively small - you will barely notice you are carrying it on or in your backpack.
The seating position is slightly further forward than the traditional packraft design, improving paddling efficiency and directional stability.

Thank you for mentioning all the important details including the helpful tipps and I completely agree: after multiple trial and errors the Flex PR + finally also turned out to be the right choice for my similar needs:

Thanks for the video. First time Ive seen someone paddle down a tow path lol. Im curious, what do you thing the largest drybag you could get in that bag? I love the idea of this bag but all my expeditions involve flights with roughly 100 ltrs of gear and obviously you dont want anything strapped to the outside. At the moment I just use a 110 ltr duffle with backpack shoulder straps . Its not ideal for hiking but the bags are cheap and everything including pfd helmet and camping gear fits inside and importantly it fits through the ISS zip. This might be what Im looking for assuming I could fit around a 100 ltr dry bag.

Can I fit a rolled up larger packraft in the backpack at the bottom? Are the straps at the bottom long enough to fasten a larger packraft, such as an Alpaca Caribou?

  • @sc00Bay

Nice Idea, but 300-400 Bucks for that? 100 € with Harness and Hip Belt and without the Drybag would be OK.

  • @Packraft_Stories

How much weight can this pack carry?
