Update: I just followed these exact instructions for my 14 Altima, and it took me 10 minutes. Great video and thanks. 10mm socket. I bought my side mirror from Amazon for $62 and saved me $740 that the dealership was going to charge.

On my way to work this morning I got side clipped and this was the exact video I needed. Like you said a lot of unnecessary I being put out there. Thank you for being straight to the point without any cuts! 😅😅
Update: 4 days later since I put my mirror on. It was relatively easy except for the nuts on my 2017 Nissan Altima SR were put on soooo tightly that it was almost difficult to take them off. I broke my rotater on my socket because it was so hard to get off. I finally got them off but I did have to unclip the part of the door closest to the inside of the passenger side but that was purely due to how tight the nuts were and not having enough space to really press hard on them. Now that I have the mirror I put on, I shouldn’t have to unclip the door like you said.

This worked for me as well. Very simple, and the main trouble I had was I did it at night and not in the best lighting. But still very pleased. Note: I rolled my window down while doing this, and now my window is a little wonky. Nothing major, but 8t definitely seats not as good as it did before, so probably best to leave the window up if you can.
