Thank you! You are the only person showing you can do it without removing the door panel. Whole thing only took me 30 min including grabbing the tools and watching this video
Thank you for making the video. Note to others who are contemplating this: If you order a new mirror or mirror housing/cover, they do not come pre painted. You will need to purchase primer, paint and clear coat. Also, removing the cover can be very tricky. I ordered an aftermarket mirror and the tabs holding the cover were not in the same location as OEM. If I had to do it again, I'd request they ship the mirror with the cover removed so it doesn't get damaged to be painted.
Tried it on a 2022 Altima and it worked. The only difference was the three screws on the original mirror were different threads and took the mirror to the Hardware store to get proper threads.
Most time it doesn't have it but you can check it with a test light to see if there is any wire for the signal in the mirror if not you will have to run the wire your self
@@PaulieWalnutss I just posted then deleted the exact same question. Did you by any chance test this? I have a 2012 Altima and will be changing the mirrors soon. The standard mirrors are on there now but I'd like to install the ones with turn signals built. Did you have any luck?
@@jaygremillion No I didn't if you can find a wiring diagram it would confirm if you could but I think the wiring harness is different for the different trim levels

I’ve seen some on eBay that has the actually color I need! I’m so afraid to order now as I don’t think I would find the correct color
@@mercedeshayes7594not me seeing this comment AFTER I just placed my order on eBay 😭

Waguan Momo! If I buy a mirror with turn signal built in, do you think the wiring harness has it built in for all trim levels ?
Thanks mon!

*Why not just buy the glass and replace that instead of the whole entire mirror?*
I had a big round trash can in way backing in drive with metal gate, barely bumped gate, shattered passenger Mirror.....Grrr
You make it look easy but whenever I try, all Hell ensues..
I still think it would be easier to just remove the door panel....5 minute job to remove 3 screws
