Veldes is everything I wanted, and everything I never thought I needed in more recent Black Metal. The melancholy tone's too perfect for me to accurately describe here; even more than Ember Breather, which was my favorite until I found this.
And the instruments raised the bar quite well, I may add. I find myself whistling the opening acoustic, and some of the piano licks from this and Ember Breather every other day, basically, by this point.

Seeking the land beyond is a masterpiece....I loved what they did with the melody in and out of blast beats to straight beats and how the vocals began following the melody ....timeless!!!

This is great, plain and simple..! Veldes has for me personally grown to be one of my alltime greats, cause of the anguish and unforgiving sadness it for me scetchess to show within it's somber landscape of melodies that pulses with grandious intent..! 😈
