Styling somebody's outfits online seems like a tough task because it's not only about the colour combinations you have to consider, but also the fit, the shape, and texture. But overall it's a great idea to have "an outsider" take a look at your wardrobe and its potential.
Absolutely, it’s a tricky job and I think Rae did so great with the info she had! There is definitely something special about having a fresh pair of eyes in almost any situation, closets included!
I can definitely see it working on someone else, for sure! I don’t think Rae made any ‘bad’ outfits, but obviously it’s important to feel comfortable and that’s entirely a subjective thing 😊
Seems like Ray has really been riding the color wheel to put those incredible combinations together. I wouldn't sleep on the dark green/purple combo, maybe just without the underlayer.
I loved this! Please update us on future outfits with Rae, and I would love to see the stats concerning your closet. I've gone through a couple of big closet purges and enjoy seeing how others manage their clothing and how often everything actually gets worn.
I have never used a service like this before, would definitely be interested to hear your updated thoughts at the end of the year. Hopefully as you and Rae get to know each other, it will just keep getting better!
I think you got a lot out of this experience. And it probably is because you had the best perspective going into it. If you were more passive and not open to anything but have your daily wear chosen for you, it might feel like a fail. I love how much you show your thought process during and after. And its nice to see the way you communicated with the company and stylist.
I hope you make videos on month 2 and month 3. I thought it was really interesting how you changed your style words after the first week. I really liked all the outfits and your style is so fun and cheerful.
that's so interesting. I've never heard of a service like that that styles your own wardrobe for you. the outfits I liked best you said didn't work for you lol - like the blue pants and the lilac boots, or the first iteration of the purple skirt outfit. it seems like it would be fun for the stylist too. so interesting that you hadn't put things together in the same way she did. glad you're enjoying it!
I do love the service of styling items we already own, such a great concept! And I love that you loved the outfits that didn’t work for me! I think every outfit Rhae put together was a cute outfit, but obviously how we feel in an outfit is sooooo subjective! … and I fear I may be pickier than most! 😅❤️
This was great to watch! I really want to start using Indyx and the styling services. I absolutely love those red and pink summer pants!!! I gasped when I saw them on you!
Blue shoes with blue pants elongates you & makes you appear taller/slimmer. That outfit looked really good as did all the outfits. I’m impressed by your wardrobe. You may have trouble putting outfits together but you have cool individual pieces. I couldn’t do this service because I pretty much own t-shirts & jeans.
I do love my wardrobe and I love putting outfits together! This was such a fun way to get new inspiration. I’m not really worried about trying to look taller or slimmer, I’m much more interested in self expression and feeling comfortable. So glad you enjoyed the video! 😊
That floral dress with the hat was fabulous. I loved it so much. I also really loved the orange and pink analogous outfit and the lilac and pink update. The responsiveness of the stylist was heartening, too. This seems like a cool experience. It makes me want to try.
This was such a fun video! I loved the first 3 outfits: 1 - looks so nice on you! 2 - like the sweater colour with it all, but maybe not the over the shoulder look of it? 3 - nice! Outfit 4 - nice! 5 - nice! 6 - I can totally see why you find it too preppy for yourself. Bonus outfit - good colours! 13:00 - I really like this colour-block look, but you prefer more pattern, and don't like the shirt-feel when worn like this. Clearly you do need to pass on that jacket, as you don't like it enough! 14:00 - I do like that colour shirt with it! 14:30 - Sadly I don't like this one as much.
That’s amazing, I’m so glad you’re trying it out! And I agree, all the videos I’ve seen are reviewing the Lookbook, but I think the Feed is way better value!
This was such a great video! Super thought provoking and actually extra fun for me because I had heard of the expensive styling options but not the $25 ones! I might go and order my own to see if they can come up with a solution for how I feel like I never have good shirts to wear haha. Your wardrobe is also so fun! Will definitely be sticking around to see more!
Thanks so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it! The $25 option is much more reasonable, and honestly I prefer it than getting overwhelmed with 10 outfits all at once!
On the location thing - any time I try to put my Australian post code in a zip code field on an American site, it gets rejected. So I would have just assumed that field wouldn't work, and used the display location function as you did 🤷 My favourite outfit was the stripey jumper and brown pants too. Re the blue bag, I wonder if you could replace the strap to make it more usable? Either buy a separate strap or maybe a bag repair place could make you a new one
Absolutely! This was another reason I didn’t bother with ‘zip code’ and instead opted for the display location! This was one part that the Indyx help response was a little frustrating - they didn’t seem to get how that usually works from an international perspective and why I wouldn’t necessarily assume ‘zip code’ = post code. Thank you for making me feel a little less stupid! 😅❤️ As for the blue bag, I am exploring my options. Either way, I’ll be opting for second hand solutions 😊
Ok, I’m only part way through but these outfits are GREAT so far. ❤ I started on Indyx a few weeks back and have a “The Feed” subscription. I’ll have my 2nd batch of recommendations tomorrow. All in all, it’s not been “ground-breaking” yet but I’m still happy with my results. I took a lot of time using the description box on each individual piece to explain the fit, silhouette, colour, etc.
You are very ....I don't know what the word is that I am looking for...inventive, enterprising? This was awesome! I would never have thought about stylists like this. And your commentary on the choices that were made, colour theory and how it made you feel were very thought provoking. Really enjoyed watching your experience with this service. Great!
the outfit adjustment looked beautiful on you! your personality really shined through :D i had never heard of this app but this video made me want to download it now hehe
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Let me know if you do download Indyx how you get on with it! It’s a big time commitment upfront to upload your wardrobe, but once it’s done it’s a great app!
This was really fun to watch! I also started logging my wardrobe recently, but ultimately decided against Indyx because I can't mark an item as handmade there and stats are a premium feature. But the styling part might be worth another try, it's super interesting to see how another person styles your clothes differently.
Ahh I hadn’t even thought of the handmade issue! I can see how that would be a great addition to the app, especially for the many craft folks out there like yourself!
I love Rhae’s picks even the summer outfits!😍 I like the idea of getting suggestions for pairings, I think I get into a rut with my clothing. Especially footwear and purses. I enjoyed how you discovered items in your wardrobe that you don’t really like and stretching your style to find pleasant surprises. Seems like a fun experience!
Thanks for you video .. I am interested is making the most of my clothes and my memade clothes .. I love the idea of getting someone else view of my clothes vs the fantasy that I am looking to do .. I also think that seasonal styling would be helpful … I am going to try the app … I hope the photographing and tracking part is not too time consuming
They’re absolutely on the dressy end of the spectrum for me, not every day casual at all! I would wear the first outfit to something like a wedding shower or a summer date! 😊
Ah I see what you mean! Sadly, that jumper has a fitted waistband, so it wouldn’t flow down in the way you’re imagining. I just sort of tucked the waist band up, otherwise it made the silhouette look like a weird figure 8 sort of thing 😅
This was so much fun! I feel like you have a fun wardrobe for something like this (if I did it, I feel like the stylist would be like "uuuuh you really have 3 pairs of identical black Levis?") and I like quite a few of the outfits! I did like the "cool" one with the boots on you. I liked the 'reworked' one better than the first version for sure. I quite liked the first summery one - definitely on the fancier end but the neutrals made the pants really stand out! and I did like the summery one with the addition of the hat that you said you'd worn already. (Also like another commenter mentioned, the 'zip code' thing would've confused me too -- our "postal codes" have a mix of numbers and letters and aren't always accepted in "zip code" fields).
Three identical black Levi’s is honestly just such a strong image, I love it 😅🖤 And thank you for validating the zip code/post code thing!! Ours are just four numbers, so without including a country I wasn’t sure if it would identify my location through that, and I tend to just assume ‘zip code’ fields are US-specific unless stated otherwise. I definitely think that’s something Indyx could make clearer for international users. Glad you liked some of the looks, rainbow colours and all! 🌈
Oooh I hadn’t even thought of that before! I think people get invited by Indyx to be stylists, and I don’t think I’m on their radar! 😅 I think it’s be such a cool thing to do, though!
Was really glad to find a fellow colourful, plus-size Melbournian trying this! I’ve been waiting for the season to change to get better light to start imputing my clothes. Would love to see more of your journey with this process

Absolutely, it’s a tricky job and I think Rae did so great with the info she had! There is definitely something special about having a fresh pair of eyes in almost any situation, closets included!
I use the app and there are features where you can leave freehand notes about the item. I’m assuming you can share that info with your stylist.
I love that having someone else style our wardrobe pushes us out of our comfort zone and seeing things from a different perspective. 😊😊😊
It definitely gives a new perspective on your wardrobe! So fun!
Outfit 6 is the whole reason I clicked the video. I loved it. The updated was cute, but the first was better.
I can definitely see it working on someone else, for sure! I don’t think Rae made any ‘bad’ outfits, but obviously it’s important to feel comfortable and that’s entirely a subjective thing 😊
It's definitely my style, and I think it would help me be more comfortable with pattern mixing because it's just a little showing.
These look so good on u, fun and unexpected. Ps your doggo is adorable ❤
Thanks so much! And yes, Olly is the cutest little bean 🥰
Seems like Ray has really been riding the color wheel to put those incredible combinations together. I wouldn't sleep on the dark green/purple combo, maybe just without the underlayer.
I’ll have to revisit it, for sure!
I loved this! Please update us on future outfits with Rae, and I would love to see the stats concerning your closet. I've gone through a couple of big closet purges and enjoy seeing how others manage their clothing and how often everything actually gets worn.
Noted! Stats are definitely on my to-do list, and I’m already filming a part two to this video! 😉 Thanks so much!
I have never used a service like this before, would definitely be interested to hear your updated thoughts at the end of the year. Hopefully as you and Rae get to know each other, it will just keep getting better!
That is certainly the hope! Thanks for letting me know you’d be interested in a follow up - I’ll see what I can do 😉
I really enjoy your narrative. It revealed the process perfectly. Thanks
Thank you for watching! I’m glad it helped illustrate the process!
I think you got a lot out of this experience. And it probably is because you had the best perspective going into it. If you were more passive and not open to anything but have your daily wear chosen for you, it might feel like a fail. I love how much you show your thought process during and after. That’s certainly the perspective I tried to adopt - I’m glad that came through in the video! 😊
I hope you make videos on month 2 and month 3. I thought it was really interesting how you changed your style words after the first week. I really liked all the outfits and your style is so fun and cheerful.
Thanks so much! I’m already working on a part two!

I absolutely love how you embrace colour!! You have such a fun style 🩷❤️💜💙 thanks for sharing this! Fun to see your experiment!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It was such a fun experiment! 😊
This was great to watch! I really want to start using Indyx and the styling services. I absolutely love those red and pink summer pants!!! I gasped when I saw them on you!
So glad you enjoyed it! I loved those pants too and I can’t wait to get some wear out of them as the weather warms up! 🩷❤️

Would love to see more stats or details from this app. Or clothing content in general! This was fun to watch.
Noted! I’ll see what I can come up with! 😉
That floral dress with the hat was fabulous. I loved it so much. I also really loved the orange and pink analogous outfit and the lilac and pink update. The responsiveness of the stylist was heartening, too. This seems like a cool experience. It makes me want to try.
It was a really cool experience that’s for sure, I’m glad you liked it!
This was such a fun video!
I loved the first 3 outfits:

I just found your channel and I really like your style! (and what a cute doggy!)
This is my fave service so far on Indyx so am glad to see this review. I am going to start trying on each suggested outfit as you advise. Great idea!
That’s amazing, I’m so glad you’re trying it out! And I agree, all the videos I’ve seen are reviewing the Lookbook, but I think the Feed is way better value!
Number six is my fave skirt and sweater and blouse perfect
This was such a great video! Super thought provoking and actually extra fun for me because I had heard of the expensive styling options but not the $25 ones! Having a stylist come in and suggest new combinations seems like an interesting experience. I'm not sure it's for me, but it's cool to hear about.
I agree, it’s definitely not for everyone, but it was a really fun experience that gave me some great new ideas!
On the location thing - any time I try to put my Australian post code in a zip code field on an American site, it gets rejected. So I would have just assumed that field wouldn't work, and used the display location function as you did 🤷

Plus this would require the app to know every zip code in the world!
Ok, I’m only part way through but these outfits are GREAT so far. ❤

So glad you’re enjoying the app! I have tags for each item regarding fit but I could definitely be more thorough! Good idea!
Also, hello fellow Aussie and fellow book lover. I totally feel you when it comes to being in the southern hemisphere.
Hello! 👋🏻
I really enjoyed your reflections and taking us into the experience
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! It was such a fun process to go through!
That was really good information!!
So glad it was helpful!
You are very ....I don't know what the word is that I am looking for...inventive, enterprising? This was awesome! I would never have thought about stylists like this. And your commentary on the choices that were made, colour theory and how it made you feel were very thought provoking. Really enjoyed watching your experience with this service. Great!
Wow, thank you so much for the kind words! Glad to hear you enjoyed the video! 🥰
the outfit adjustment looked beautiful on you! your personality really shined through :D i had never heard of this app but this video made me want to download it now hehe

Your fav outfit was mine too! And the second rendition of the purple skirt outfit. Cute cute.
Haha yessss great taste 😉❤️
I loved the outfits ❤
Me too! 🥰

Seems like a fun experience!
I totally agree, Rhae did such a great job, and it was both a fun and eye opening experience for sure!
This is a fun video to watch, not just cos little Olly is so cute 😍 it's definitely an interesting exercise to have stylist.
She is the cutest little bean, I agree! 🥰🥰🥰
The outfits are all right and everything, but your dog's adorable fluffy booty is the real highlight of this video 😍
Haha yessss 🥰🥰🥰
Love this - so interesting
Love all the outfits! And mostly...omg all your colorful clothes! Amazing
Thank you! 🌈
Thanks for you video .. I am interested is making the most of my clothes and my memade clothes .. I love the idea of getting someone else view of my clothes vs the fantasy that I am looking to do .. It definitely is a time commitment at the beginning, but for me it was well worth the effort!
🙂🙃 First two are casual lunch, not semi-formal in the least.
But very nice!
They’re absolutely on the dressy end of the spectrum for me, not every day casual at all! I would wear the first outfit to something like a wedding shower or a summer date! 😊
Trade the periwinkle boots for red shoes!
I love all these outfits! Eventually, I'll be able to afford one haha

Trust me, please open this comment. I promise it's not spam!
Haha yep, she’s an adorable little weirdo 🤣🤣🤣 she gets a little too enthusiastic with her toys sometimes!
This was a lot of fun! For the last outfit, perhaps untuck the top and let it hang more flowy?
Ah I see what you mean! Sadly, that jumper has a fitted waistband, so it wouldn’t flow down in the way you’re imagining. I just sort of tucked the waist band up, otherwise it made the silhouette look like a weird figure 8 sort of thing 😅
I looooove these outfits she put together for you, so sorry about the climate miscommunication issue!
Thanks so much, I agree I think she did a great job!
Yes please go through your stats in another video!
Coming up soon! 😉

How many items do you have in your wardrobe? I am curious to try this, but I fear I have so few items that I already tried all the combinations.
I’m putting together a video looking at my wardrobe starts as we speak, so stay tuned!
You’re the type of stylist I would want. Any chance you’re thinking of being a stylist in the site? Is that a thing?
Oooh I hadn’t even thought of that before! I think people get invited by Indyx to be stylists, and I don’t think I’m on their radar! 😅 I think it’s be such a cool thing to do, though!
What brand were the orange pants if you don't mind telling? 👀
They’re the Lucy & Yak Cole Jeans 😊
The red striped top with orange pants outfit is SO cute!! SO. cute!
Yesss!! I wore this again just yesterday! 🩷❤️🧡
Was really glad to find a fellow colourful, plus-size Melbournian trying this! I’ve been waiting for the season to change to get better light to start imputing my clothes. Would love to see more of your journey with this process
Ahh hello! Thanks so much for stopping by! 🩷
Your puppy is too cute to be real. Have you checked to see if she's a muppet?
She’s been fooling us for almost nine years!!! 😅
