FILM DESCRIPTION:
Young Keda tries to survive alone in the wilderness after he's left for dead during his first hunt with his Cro-Magnon tribe. He soon forms an unlikely alliance with a lone wolf that was abandoned by its pack. Facing overwhelming odds and nonstop danger, Keda and the wolf must now trek through a harsh and unforgiving landscape to make it home before winter.

Indeed. I love the primal freedom of wandering the land. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to die by my late teens, or even younger as was often the case in the Stone Age.
And knowing that ther are other human species to back then.
I mean they had very little in the way of quick and reliable access to medicine/treatment, no way to communicate long distances, bad oral hygiene and little creature comforts. Can you imagine having a toothache back then and not really being able to do anything about it other than extracting that tooth or just dealing with it?

Well, if you consider that freedom, then you could still technically do this today, except your predators would be both animals and some hostile people who may have modern weapons on them.
I wonder if there's going to be a sequel to this movie.

When I went to school I’d get on the bus but when I got off there was a Labrador. Always waiting for me to get off the bus and walk me home and as I got in my home I looked out the window and just see the dog sitting there waiting for me as if I was gonna come back out this dog did this every single day. She didn’t have a name but I named her Stella. I would go out side feed her play with her and I found out she’s passed.
Never take dogs for granted they are really loyal and caring

Dr Derplington globalization would come a lot later as we won’t be able to travel as much without horses.
Dr Derplington I agree horses are more important than dogs but if we never domesticated dogs our early ancestors would have had a hard time combating the carnivores like bears and wolves which would lead to a slower win on our part. And that would mean we wouldn’t be as technologically advanced as we are today if we did not have dogs back then to help us secure our spot.
This begs the question, how did man learn to tame horses?

I think it's so cool that their relationship got to the point that they could both trust each other. Because at the beginning they were having to essentially sleep with one eye open... Lol 😂
I love that they studied wolf behavior to actually make it look real, although wolves don’t growl/snark at their prey. I still applaud.
you're right they don't do that to prey and they also don't just trot up to prey like that either. Maybe the pack just thought they were a threat, hence the snarling

It very well may be one of my favourite movies. It's something so primal, illuminating the both the struggles and beauty of the reality that our ancestors had seen.
I wonder if the Black wolf was Alpha’s mate, since she had a black pup towards the end of the movie....even though any wolf could’ve possessed a melanistic gene.
Yes, the black wolf was the alpha male of the wolf pack while Alpha was the alpha female so he was her mate.

When the Wolf looked back, it was like it was saying or asking "Hey Brotha, I love my pack of wolves family and all but.... Are you cool if I go?" Such a freaking awesome moment and scene right there. 🤜🏾🔥🤛🏻
3:01 In this scene you can see in his eyes that he understands the pain of being separated from his family, so he lets alpha go to his family even though he knows it would be painful to let her go.
It got me tearing up, the right thing to do is let him go back with his pack, but part of me would be like " No, youre staying with me, youre my dog and my best friend 😭"

Es de suponer que el resto de la trama y detalles tienen la misma total ausencia de rigor histórico tipo "cualquier parecido con la realidad es pura casualidad". Supongo que la peli se habrá llevado algún premio anti-Oscar por ello, como un Razzie a la peor caracterización del año.

This movie reminds me of an old story,when the first child born I'm not talking about jesus christ,but the story is familiar,how his parents died and left him in the wild back when there's no energy source just woods and grass, the story goes that he is asian,a tiger came and took him in,feed him these type of animals that's edible, that's how he survived...as his story ends another begins....
