I don’t think the Senna’s forte is straight line/drag strip performance. If was developed around track performance, I suspect too much drag for world beating 1/4 mile times.

Makes me cringe when these guys take brand new cars to the strip and flog 'em like that black/white Chiron a little while back that they couldn't figure out the launch control on. That car was still on someone's showroom floor a couple of weeks ago trying to get rid of it. These videos are fun to watch but these fellas surely don't respect the cars.
Wrong. People that baby these cars should not buy them. They are not made to just accelerate hard onto the interstate/freeway and then scramble back down to legal speeds before somebody sees you. The car wasn't abused at all, it was driven how it should be driven, but it's a street car so it's flexible. People that go around doing donuts and neutral drops are abusing the car.

I love how responsible of a driver he is being on the roads early in the video, like you see some like Toyota Corolla hauling ass in the background. This really is like a nice GT car.
I sat in the GT at the Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance last August. I complained to the McLaren representative that i could not fit into any of their cars, and he stated that the GT and latest cars offered more room. I asked him if I could sit in it and he obliged. With a little bit of maneuvering, I fit pretty decently.
FYI, Autocar UK compared the Senna and 720s 1 yr ago. 0-100-0 and trackwork. Senna far faster everywhere under same conditions. Even with a poor start the Senna was faster to 100mph. No 1/4 mile but surely it must be quicker? Get a Senna on the strip, easy 9's.
2020 C8 0-60mph 2.8sec and 1/4 mile 11.3 sec for 25% of the cost and no electrical glitches my Maclaren 720 constantly suffered from and was sold due to.

Faster then the GT500 you were in but even in Vegas with those temps and altitude the GT500 out there was close to 7.0's and a guy just tested his and got 6.2 60-130! Hell with cat delete, long tubes, ported blower, pulley, e85 tune with bigger injectors, and RPM raised which can be done for around 6k + or - and it put out 947 horsepower to the wheels with a 9.9 at 141mph 1/4 mile. That's without the transmission working correct as that is yet to be figured out but it has to as the launch needs help. You can a test to that as your GT killed them 0-60! But so far I'm extremely impressed with the new GT500. When you launch the GT500 though in launch control the traction control kicks in and kills the power off the line!

You should have waited until after the cold front passed us on Jan.5. I guess that rain was the cold front if this wasn't filmed a long time ago. We've had cool and dry air this weekend. That would have produced some faster time, dry streets, better air.
10k Subscribers without any videos. And the corvette does a low 11 sec 1/4mile at 123mph. While the GT will do a low 10 at 135mph plus.. the GT will demolish the C8 in identical conditions and that’s a fact. Bringing up 0-60 is hilarious. The GT is probably a good 3 seconds quicker 60-130mph too
S63 amg coupe is on par with performance has more features (self park,massage seats,distronik ,night vision etc.)the most comfortable seats ever fit and finished bar none. Better reliability? I think so from what I have heard about Maclaren. But Maclaren wins the cool factor easily. Thinking about a trade in. Let's see how they hold up to real word every day driving.

I think the GT will run the quarter mile in about 10.4...looking at the 600 LT which did it in 10.5 and didn t have a time as good as the GT from 60 to 130 MPH. Also getting the Senna on the drag strip would be amazing...maybe putting it against the 918 Spyder that would be a crazy race

I’m guessing the 992 Carrera 4 GTS will be nearly as quick, but that’s probably the closest any competitor will come.

New exotic car era, doesn't need the break in period. Matter of fact they rev those babies at the factory before delivery.
