Electric performance hybridization is going to get really insane when a better / lighter battery tech comes into play. Imagine the numbers the Bentley would put up if it shaves 700-800lbs of battery weight (same for the newer AMG). There's still a whole lot of performance gain just waiting in the wings that will come into fruition over the next decade.
That's why I don't get all the hate for hybrids and EVs. We're in the infancy of this tech. There's so much room for growth and improvement. Hell, the ICE has been around for over a century. A hundred years of evolution. These hybrids and EVs are gonna be insane in the next couple decades. Can't wait!
Hybrids and EVs carry huge performance potential, but I gotta be honest....where's this drastically lighter battery tech we speak of? Most of the EVs with the highest range hover around the 300-400 mark in the real world, with only the heaviest battery packs able to get towards the top end of that. Lithium ion battery packs can still be improved, but I doubt it'll shave that much weight from future EVs. It's the hybrids I have my eye on. With a combustion engine and fuel tank onboard to handle much of the energy storage, you can get away with a MUCH smaller battery, making reasonable weight achievable. Moreover, there is nothing stopping a hybrid from possessing a holeshot as good as the EVs, since 1000hz TCS just needs an electric motor. If the next generation of holeshot gods comes from anywhere, my bet is on the hybrids.

Also, the POV replays during the walk-back explanation when I don't hear him explaining anything at the same time seem boring as well. The outro was good but not impactful enough.
