Hi E. Michele! I love your vids. I was wondering how do you keep you money organized when shopping at big chain stores. For example, if you’re shopping at Walmart where you can buy your groceries and personal care items, would you just use your Groceries money ?
I've been researching this system for a while but haven't been huge on the zero-based part of it. I have to buy a lotta random stuff and wanted some flexibility. It also didn't make sense to me to take rent and utilities out in cash bc I mean... How are you planning to pay for that if it's cash? You can have a direct expense taken out of your account and just make sure you note it in your budget you should be fine. I wanted a more hybrid system but wasn't quite sure how to hybridize cash envelopes w another system (like 50-30-20). This video is really helpful and you explain things really well!
I would use these method but I like saving my change in jars at home.

Thanks for uploading this update. I’ve been using Proactive Budget through the two week free trial. I really love the concept but the app has been giving me so much problems that I don’t know if I will continue using it after the trial or I will have to change some of my spending habits to adjust to the issues.
Have you been having any issues with the Proactive Budget app since you’ve been using it?

I was using simple for awhile but I like how Proactive allows you to click on the category and then make purchase where simple did not and my categories were all messed up and I had to move money around all the time. Pain in the bum bum! 😃. When you transfer the money into Proactive is the money available right away? Or is there a hold for a few days?
