the way she combines all the multi-coloured square randomly speaks volumes ,. This just looks phenomenal and add character to the blanket .... I would try what she is doing... Stay blessed
I've been looking at so many videos and websites and this is the first video I've seen dealing with more than 2 squares at a time with a way to tie off, thank you
Thank you so much for doing 4 squares at a time. That's what I've needed! You make it all seem so easy! ☮❤🙂
I have been looking for the mattress stitch and you are the only one so far that explained and showed it so well. Thank you ...subscribed

I'm with you, I think I prefer the whip stitch also! Thanks for taking the time to go through this and show us the different methods! I can't wait to start putting mine together.
Excellent teaching skills, I was totally able to follow along. Favorite was the granny square stitch to attach granny squares. Thank you for your amazing tutorial.
This is the best square attaching video of all times! Thank you Nadia.
Really helpful video, thank you. I am 61 and just teaching myself to crochet after years of meaning to do so. I like the mattress stitch the best because it is almost invisible, lies flat and is a stitch I am familiar with from years of knitting and joining seams on knitted garments.
Thanks for the demo. Love all your Granny squares. So neat!
Omg, just stumbled upon this video, thank you so much . Started my first granny square blanket.
Thank you so very much for great info. It's the only one that has a stitch for granny square attachment!!! WOW. I love that one!!
You are absolutely amazing! Such a great Teacher! I have learned so much from your classes thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Happy New Year!
I really liked this one demo. You did this Very Very well. And thanks for each different stitch you have shown and to your father thank you to him as well. congrats and happy creating for all of what you will be trying in the future, enjoy.
Stunning! I really enjoyed you! and very easy to follow! THanx
You are amazing! Found your blog through a google search. Watched the whole video. Very clear instructions and video. I have been crocheting since age 19, I'm 61 now but have rheumatoid arthritis. I found some ergonomic hooks and am going to start a project where another lady and I will learn together the way I first learned to crochet-with a granny square! She for the first time; me relearning. Keep up the good work.
Sal ty wow, you're amazing, YOU keep up the good work!!!!
Good for you. this gives a newbie thr confidence to know there is a way for me yo be creative for years on end thank you for your comment. and thank you video maker!
This is sooo beautiful Nadia you're amazing MSA! 💚
I've been always using the second method to attach my squares but in stead of joining through the V's I just face the backs toward each others and join through the back loops only with a slip stitch, it gives a more flat and clean look and it become my front side it gives a nice thin bread on the top of the blanket : )
Beautiful work! I made my first 30 granny squares recently. After watching your video I feel confident enough to start stitching them together! Thank you! ! I like your nails too!!
Nadia, I followed 365 days of Granny squares . I went to day 21 using acrylic . Then I got the idea to make them out of cotton. So the next thirty were cotton. I bordered them and made dishcloths. I took the 21 and put each in a Zip lock bag with the instructions and gave it to my granddaughter. Now she is following you,
Thank you Nadia. Your tuto is so clear.
Thank you! I've been making solid color squares for ages, using up scraps, and you've given me great options for joining. Whipstitch is my favorite, but I think I'll use single crochet, working it with right sides together. That lets me use the ridge as a decorative feature.
I love the mattress method best, the whip stitch next. Thanks!!
You are a miracle worker!!!!! I love your work!!! You make it look to easy!!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!!!
Thank you for this great video!
This is the first time I'm seeing so many square designs. I'm new to this so I just know daisy and solid square one. All of your designs are So pretty!
Really clear, concise tutorial...thorough and complete, thank you soooo much!!!
👍🏻 The Mattress Stitch is perfect for my project 💖🤗

Thanks so much for sharing your videos with us . You are very talented and it is easy to follow your directions.
Thank you so much! I've been looking all over for what to do if you granny squares aren't exactly the same size!
Yes, I love how she's so practical and non-fussy about that.
Congratulations! Beatiful! Good job❤❤

Thank you so easy it the best I've seen blessings
these squares are awesome!
Love first and fourth stitch
it looks so good thank you so much.
Single crochet or slip stitch into the top/ back loop only will leave a faux chain stich look on the front. Very pretty.
Granny square is my favorite THANK YOU SO MUCH
Desde España te felicito ,precioso 🐞👏🍀
Thank you so much!
I love your collection of granny squares. You got a new subscriber
I really enjoyed this thank you, but I would like to as, what is your favorite way to sew the blocks together? and what would you say would be the best for a begginer?
I just want to thank you so much I learned so much. 😊 great job.
Very beautiful now you have a new subscriber
I'd like to say a big thank you for having a video on just attaching squares. Wonderful! I too like many others have been crocheting for quite some time (over 45 years), however, I never heard of the mattress stitch. Bravo! I love learning something new. Keep up the good work. :)
Hat's off for your project😃😃
Great tutorial, thank you. Do you have suggestions for a border when you do the last technique for attaching the squares? I'm unsure what to do when I get to the stitches that are sticking out/uneven.
Thank you so much.
Thanks a lot.
Thanx for sharing
Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate all these choices. I REALLY appreciate it❤
Je suis fan de toutes vos vidéos,merci pour le partage💖💖💖🇫🇷🇫🇷
I think when I sew my granny squares together I will be using the whipstitch method. Thank you for showing us these methods! :)
Thank you!!
Thank full for your videos . Its massing
Tysm...I like the Whip Stitch
I used your granny stitch method to join my squares. I love it! but I am having a hard time finding a border with tutorials (I'm a beginner) that pushes those little side ones in. what do you suggest? please help :)
Thank You!
When I join a lot of squares I use small coilless safty pins to hold everything together. Then I know for sure if I need to skip a stitch and I know the squares will be sewn/crocheted together evenly.
Thank you so much. I am new to crochet so this information is very helpful.
that granny stitch is the final piece of knowledge i needed to finish this project and your explanation was PERFECT. thank-you so much
I've always done the mattress stitch with the squares lying flat. The yarn goes from the bottom up each time. If you only stitch through the bottom loop it creates an interesting, decorative texture. It still lies flat.
i like the last method so cool to me >< it make me use any project in two sides >>> to good & good work thank you and Hppy New Year 2019 >>> From EGYPT TO YOU AND EVERY ONE WITH US LIKE hand work and crochet .
I actually prefer the slip stitch method of joining squares. It's fast and easy, and if you mess up or need to rearrange squares, it's easy to pull out. That being said, how I've prevented the excess fabric on the back side and to make the front lay flatter is to only slip stitch through the back loops of each square. It creates a beautiful texture on the front, but allowes the work to lay flatter.
I love your squares.
gracias !!
Whip stitch is my favorite and the granny square I will also use too. But you are right a lot of work maybe I like the mattress stitch better too Thank you
I like the Granny Stich
When I am doing the last round I connect each chain space with the square next to it's chain space with a slip stitch. So all squares are connected by the chain space to the adjoining chain space.
Thank you I noticed my tension was a little off for some squares making some seem bigger I was wondering after I joined if the blanket would buckle after being washed
Hoy me suscribi a tu canal me encanta tus trabajos
Great sharing
This is the best stitch to join the squares , love it ❤️
I love your tutorials! I learned so much from you! Keep crocheting!!!❤️
Ty you so very much...
you mentioned in your video you would list sizes for blankets in the description. I m having trouble finding that information. can you pls help me find it? Love love all your videos you are a very good teacher. Thank You
I do make my grannys using my scrap yarns :) I think it's a good way to use scrap yarn so it's not wasted :)
thank you!
I love all the patterns and colours, have u got the videos on how to do them.please?
When joining the granny squares using the slip stitch method, instead of slip stitching all four loops (both squares/both loops), would it be less bulky if you just slip stitched the outer loops of both squares?
قناة راااائعة شكرًا 👌🏻👏🏻
You do an amazing job!!
Great explanations and thank you for taking the time to show a variety of options.
Love all your work and tutorials.
Thank you so much for all your hard work!
Btw I loved the final method. :)
I really like the red and white square, where can I find the pattern to it? Thx
I think I like the methods utilizing the crochet needles only, although it's very tedious and a lot more time consuming, it doesn't leave that ridge. I have however seen an even more intricate detailed stitch called the cross stitch, that however utilizes way too much yarn. Thanks so much for being so thorough in teaching each of these 5 ways of connecting beautiful motif granny squares! You rock!
Hi what colour would you recommend to stitch with because all my squares are different colours?
There is the zigzag attaching method... very pretty
I love it! thanks
Great tutorial!!!
Has anyone ever told you that you have a melodic, sing-song voice?
Great video. I'm going to do the 5th method because it's so pretty 👏😍
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I like the look of the first attachment you did but I like the look of the ridge on the good side . Is there a written rule that you have to have it on the wrong side . Or the granny stitch attachment . Thanks.
Michele Hicks I love the ridge on the right side, too. Fold them wrong side together and sc them together. Then the ridge shows up on the right side.
Very informative!!! Tfs new subby
