After dozens of hours spent making a project, you don't want it to look "homemade". This method ticks all the boxes. Thank you for the video. You just got a new subscriber.
@@FloridaGrandma thank you so much for your kind comment ♥
@@FloridaGrandma you are too kind ♥ Thank you so much for your kind words!
Chat all you want!!! I love your tutorial!
How do you tie off your yarn at the end of this stitch!? :) loved the video btw!
"And throw your needle across the room, because that's the best thing to do". That just made me chuckle and honestly that's a mood
Lol! Thanks Destiny 😄
Thank you so much!! I was going crazy figuring out how was going to join my granny squares. I was not liking the other ways to join, and you come along with this invisible stitch. I am loving it. Thank you for sharing.
MAGIC. My eyes widened as those stitches tightened. Omg this is amazing!
Thank you so much! ♥
Wow! I'm working on a blanket for my grandmother, and I'm a beginner ag crochet and knitting. I' m so amazed at this method (best one I've seen so far, after watching at least 6 different methods, lol). This soooo helpful. Thank you!
I'm so glad to hear this! Thank you for your kind words ❤
Thank you I just saw your video and I love it, I like that is invisible, is clean and give it a very beautiful look instead of the panther one where you can see everything!! Love it!!!
Thank you so much for your kind feedback Edith
Thanks Colleen! I just started making granny squares and I was trying to figure how to connect them without seeing the seam. This has been the best method for my project. Cheers!
This join is amazing! It's exactly what I was looking for for my granny square shawl. Thank you!
I'm so glad to hear! Thank you 😊
This is AWESOME ! Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I've been crocheting for about 40 years and never cam across this technique. BEAUTIFUL !!
Thank you for your kind comment 😊❤
This is incredible! Thank you so much, I’m doing my first granny square blanket and have been watching tons of videos on how to join them but was kind of disappointed that there wasn’t an actual seamless way to do it but this, THIS! Is what I’m talking about. Great work!
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊❤
Thank you. I have left three blankets in their bag as I was having difficulty sewing them together. This was so helpful, and I can now have the blankets finished xxx
Alberta Cooke Oh I'm so glad! Thanks so much for your comment Alberta ❤
The best way ever.....I have searched and searched for something I was happy with and this beat them all. Thank you very much
supasound666 oh you are 2 kind! Thank you! So glad you like the method! 💗
Brilliant! Thank you so much! I am making a very large granny Afghan for a dear friend and have never seen such a brilliant joining method.
Thank you Molly! ❤😊
Thank you so much for sharing your discovery. It's exactly what I've been looking for. And wow! There are a lot of options and I will use some of them in the future for a different look, but THIS WAS EXACTLY what I needed for my current project. And what an awesome teacher you are...I love your voice!
You are such a sweetheart Ruth ❤ Thank you so much for your super kind comment 😊
I'm so glad you did this for us! You were one of the first videos I found and thank God I did! I'm making my first granny square blanket and your trick saved me so much time and it looks beautiful!!
That is so kind of you to say Stacie! Thank you! I'm so glad you like the method =) ♥
Your BRILLIANT Collen! Thank you! I too have been looking through the RUclips videos, but I couldn't find the perfect seamless granny square. I will always use this technique for attaching squares. Again! Thank you for sharing.
You are too sweet Zulema ❤ Thank you so much for your kind comment!
The best seamless video ever! I made a 9 piece C2C blanket that had nine pieces and I could see the stitching. I was very unhappy and I’m a perfectionist when it comes to crocheting items for a customer. This video is perfect and thank you so much! ::: All Smiles:::🥰
I have been searching for weeks for joining squares. This is the 1st one that's really invisible and not so complicated that I just give up. Thank you so much!!!
Brenda St Clair Thanks so much for letting me know Brenda 😊 I'm so glad you're working through it with ease... once I did it on a couple of squares... it was just as easy as any other join! Thanks so much for your feedback ❤
This is such a great method! Thank so much for the tutorial! "Throw your needle across the room" 😂 Love how you just go with it.
😆😂 Thank you G! ❤
Hahahahaha that was funny
Fantastic technique thanks for sharing I did giggle 🤭 when you through the needle across the floor you’re better than me I would’ve just kept laughing 😂 😂
Lol! Thank you Jacqueline 😆 So many blunders through my videos.. they just don't all make the cut 😝
Thank you so much for this tutorial, Colleen. I am working on a Spring time afghan and my squares do not have a border where the outside color matches all the other squares. This is why I need an absolutely invisible seam. Your method is perfect and just what I have been looking for.
Awww... you're so sweet Paula! Thank you ❤
If I had found this sooner, this would’ve saved me so much crocheting pain! I love this so much and I’m considering redoing some old projects with this
Hi Jozie! I'm glad you like it! It was an easy way to get a few things together without having to have an actual visible border. I know the video is a little drawn out but the main objective is pretty simple 😊.
Thanks for your comment! ❤
I have been crocheting for over 30yrs. and I have never tried this join. This is awesome. It goes to show you no matter how experienced you are you still have more to learn. Thank you so much for your video. 🤗🤗🤗
Awww.. you are so lovely ♥ Thank you for your kind comment Toshia!
Toshia McMillion im beginning to learn this to I’ve been doing it about 14 years
When I started working this seam and it was completely invisible, I was like holy s*** lol. But seriously this seam is a life saver thank you so much.
Omg, this is perfect. So easy to follow and my seams look fabulous. Love love love
Thank you for your feedback Debra! 😊❤
i was begrudgingly following along until I.got to the magic trick. Thank you!! I'm piecing together a beginners work who made tons of squares but couldn't join the squares then gave up. As long as I've crocheted I've never made an afghan so I had no idea! . I have a 1 year old grandcat helping me so I better not throw the needle but theres plenty of yarn pieces thrown about to make up for it.
I'm sorry Renee.. I made a less chatty version and linked it in the video info bar. Doesn't seem like many people are finding this link. I tend to talk a lot... trying to do better on my vids 😉
Thanks so much for your help. This solves the problem I was having! Love your natural style. Great job.
I think I have watched every single JAYG searching for a truly invisible join and finally you have provided it for me. YAY !
I have multi colored solid granny squares all with a different ending colors and I did not join the 20 squares when doing the last row as I did with the blanket as I wasn’t sure how big to make my cushion. I didn’t want the joining color to show through and wanted them to be flat no ridge. Lots of requirements ! No other videos have show this particular method - close but not quite ! Thank you so much.
Thank you for your kind words! Makes me happy when people are getting the results they are looking for 😊❤
I’m so glad I found this video! I just started putting together my squares last night with a “z” stitch and it’s been a pain. I’m taking it apart and going with this method!
Thanks for giving it a try Bella! I hope you like how it worked out 😊
WOW,this is a huge help to me. I am making a picture graph with granny squares and I needed an invisible join. You earned yourself a new subscriber 🤣👍🏼.

This is truly the best trick! Game changer! Thank you!!
Found your tutorial while looking for a way to join squares for a baby blanket. This is the nicest looking one I've found. Will be giving it a try tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your kind comment Peggy! I hope you enjoy it and after you get the hang of it... it is really quick... I feel like I raced through this. I have another video to attach to this... just an add on that explains how I work the inner square corners if working in sections. Thanks!
Wow this is great.
Thank you for a good demonstration and direction. What a cool idea you had. It's wonderful I need to try this.
Again many thanks for sharing your idea
Aww... thank you so much Sandra!
Brilliant. I have recently made three granny square tunics...totally spoilt by joining the work with other methods (looked loopy and untidy) your method is perfect. Thank You. Great video tutorial 👌😘
You're too kind Patricia ♥ Thank you so much! =D - Have a fabulous day!
Love this!! Thank you! So glad I found as I’ve just finished up some granny squares and wondered how I was going to join them! 🧶 😊
Thank you this was so incredibly helpful. I’ve been crocheting for a little over a year now and I’m used to making stuffed animals but right now I’m working on my first blanket.
That's awesome Calla! I hope your blanket is coming along nicely! Thank you for your feedback 😊❤

Kelsi, you're so sweet ❤ Thank you 😊
Block them. :)
I love this tutorial! You made me laugh so hard....I really needed that! I have been going through tutorials for over 2 hours to find the perfect joining stitch....looks like this is the one. Thank you for sharing...and the giggle. If I threw my needle across the room I'm sure I would never find it....like all those crochet hooks that magically disappeared 😃
Lol 😄 Thank you so much for your comment and feedback Nana Kate! So glad you enjoyed the video 😊 Thank you for making my day ❤
This is wonderful, I haven't made granny squares because of joining them.
Thanks
Donna Henkel Thanks! I hope it goes as smoothly as it did for me once I did a couple of them 😊
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It helped me tremendously
So glad to hear! Thank you!
Thank you so much. I have two granny Afghans currently working on for granddaughters. I hate joining and sewing in the Loose Ends. LOL this method looks like it would be fabulous and save me so much time and it looks so good.
Whoa Baby!!! So far, this is the best join I’ve ever seen in 50 years...hats off to you/

This is a big help :) I’ve been looking everywhere for something like this and every other way seems to be fairly visible. It was a bit complicated to follow at the start but well worth the brain ache haha. Thank-you !
Lol... I love it! Brain ache! The feeling I get when I have to listen to one of my videos back! Hahaha... Thanks for your kind feedback Leticia! Have a wonderful day =)

Love it!!! Thanks 😊 loved the needle toss too!!
Thank you Gayle! ❤
These colors are great together!
Thanks! =)
Thank you so much for this. It will be great if I can do it. I started a blanket and decided it wasn't wide enough so made another small section to add on. There are three different colors but luckily not real wide to add on.
Brilliant Colleen , I use this stitch for hand sewn bespoke curtains , it never dawned on me to try it for joining crochet. Thank you
Isn't that funny! I've been sewing for years, never even occurred to me! Thank you Geri ♥
Thank you for sharing!!! Needed something nice to join the sleeves to a cardigan!!! PERFECT!!!
Fantastic. Can’t wait to use it 💕
Very helpful video. Thanks for sharing it

Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏻
Thank you Kathy ❤
Thank you. This was exactly what I needed and easy to follow :). Saved me hours of hunting thru methods myself!
Tina DeYoung I'm so happy to hear this Tina! I don't know if you saw my photo in the 2nd video on how to complete the inner 4 corners of the squares, but that was done completely with this method and it turned out perfectly! Couldn't be more pleased! I really appreciate your kind feedback 😊
Thank you. This does look nice for a totally invisible seam!
katiegrav Thank you Katie! I added a video to explain how I worked the inner corners of 4 squares, and that photo on the video shows the blanket I used this for. I was beyond pleased with the outcome 😊 Have a great day!
Thanks so much this is exactly what I was looking for and couldn't find anything helpful
Thank you! =)
Thats cool colleen, i love that you can't see the joining yarn. Thank you for sharing your video !!!!
I'm so sorry that I never replied to this! Thank you so much for your comment ♥
Throwing the needle! :) lol! Love it! Thanks so much for the video! It seriously helped me in my dilemma. My m-i-l asked me to finish a 1/4 complete project her Aunt gave to her. But her Aunt has passed so i had no way of asking how she did it. Have about 100 hexagon shape tiny cotton thread crocheted doilies to join for king size bed spread! Been searching for awhile and nothing else seemed to be right. This is PERFECT and looks like what she used to join the finished portion! God bless you!!!
Love it. I have 16 15” knitted squares for a log cabin blanket on which I’m going to try this invisible join
Awesome! I really think you will like the outcome! Thanks Jean ♥
This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for to join different types of stitches so that the seam isn't visible. It really doesn't take that long either. THANK YOU!!!
Teresa Martin I'm so glad to hear this is working so well for you Teresa! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave me feedback ❤
I was able to get all the different squares put together now I just need to put each strip of the different stitches together. Does it work with LONG strips?
Teresa Martin the longest I did was 4 squares, that was just because I wanted to have more control of the pull, but it worked great with 4! I'm sure more would work fine 😊
Thank you I finally found someone to do this invisible stitch together
So glad you like it Denise! Thank you for your comment ♥
Throwing the needle was the best! ❤️ Soooooooo a thing I would do!
👍😄😄
LOVE this!! I'm really glad I found this technique, it is easy and the results are just what I was looking for. THANK YOU for sharing.

i love this!! i hate how a lot of the ways I've seen make the squares look puffy when all put together so this will be great for my cardigan :D
I totally love this seam and all... but kind of upset that i can't find my needle now... :/
Kidding! This is great!!
