i'm doing my own flowers for my wedding this year and this is _exactly_ what i've been looking for! loose, natural, asymmetrical - rather than the perfect spheres of identical flowers you often see for bridal bouquets. thanks for sharing this tutorial!!
I am a florist, but haven't learned a non-structured technique for bridal bouquets. My own wedding is coming up soon and I'll be doing my own florals for it. Your video is perfect for explaining exactly how I'd like my own bouquet, so thank you!!
Other than you saying your bouquets have a “definite back” you explain a bouquet structure exactly how I would! From the prepping and stripping to making sure the flowers are on different planes. It was reassuring to hear. I’d love to know more about how you transport your bouquets. Regular vases are always too narrow!
This was amazing!! I now, officially, have the confidence to make a bridal bouquet for a friend!! You are a great teacher and make this task attainable!
This was a lovely video. Very informative and enjoyable to watch. I am making a bridal for my daughter tomorrow morning and this video has given me the confidence to go for it. Thank you.
This video was exactly what I was looking for. I've always enjoyed arranging flowers with a nod to natural display & asymmetry- but so far, only in vases. Now I'm ready to make my own wedding bouquet. Thank you!
Great video! Also side note -his is a great example of how certain colors look great on certain people. I don't know about the whole winter/spring/cool/warm classification stuff, but this is certainly your color!
I loved this video! Thank you so much. My brother in law's fiancé asked me to make her bridal bouquet but I am new to this and really needed this video! I love the mirror idea. Love all the details in your video. Thank you so much!
Thanks, Caroline! Excellent tutorial on a garden style "Bo-K" as we say here in Western N.C... I grew up in the "family flower business " but have been out of the industry about 30 yrs now! Old School for sure. My girlfriend recently asked me to do her niece's wedding arrangements (garden style of course) and I was perplexed about it until finding your video here, what a life-saver for sure!
Hi.. would you like to see my real Brahma Kamal🌷 flower from my garden ruclips.net/video/5KHPPIb2oe4/видео.html🌷🌸 queen of the night, lady of the night as its beautiful lotus like flower blooms late night. In India it is called as brahma Kamal and is treated as a sacred plant.🌷🌻🏵 hope you like it 🌼🌸
This is a lovely tutorial and you are a great teacher. I want to make my own wedding bouquet. If I make it the night before, will it still stay fresh? Can you give me tips on preserving/storing the bouquet the night before so that it still looks fresh when I use it the next day?
Thank you so much! I always make my bouquets the day before. After made just place in fresh water in a cool, dark (out of direct sunlight) space and it will be perfectly fresh for wedding day! A little spritz of water on the blooms doesn't hurt either. Best wishes!
Awesome! So happy I could be of help! Would love to see the final product. if you post on Instagram (@passifloragirl) and tag me, I can re-share! Huge congratulations to your daughter and the family. ❤️
I’ve watched this 3x…. Love it! I can’t seem to get the name of the terra-cotta roses you are using? If anyone knows I would appreciate your feedback. Great video! I love your artistry.
Love this! Would you recommend making the bouquet a day before the wedding, or would the flowers last a few days after being cut short (assuming you put them in water and do the ribbon later)? This video is juat what I was looking for!
Hi! I always make the bouquet the day before as to keep it as fresh as possible. The best case scenario would be to make it the day before, keep the stems a little longer, and give a fresh, final cut the morning of, and then apply the ribbon. Best of luck! xx
Hi there. Do you think if I bought flowers on a Thursday, they would still be fresh by Saturday? Should I keep them in water after assembly? Thanks! I'm a newb to flowers. Thanks!
Hi Candice! As long as you keep the florals in a cool, dark spot you should be fine to receive them on Thursday. Yes, always keep them in water after assembling. Good luck flowering!
Gorgeous bouquet! Do you use any of the flower life extender sprays (Crowning Glory) to help keep your flowers fresh for events on hot days? Just curious if they are worth using. Thank you!
Hi!! I recently started working part-time at a flower shop. I really wanted to make my best friend an engagement bouquet as a gift. I’m having a hard time finding wholesale florists that ships to my home in not a big bulk supply, since I dont think I’ll be working at the shop for a long time :(. Do you have any advice on where to find flowers? Specifically looking for blue hydrangeas and delphiniums, as well as Dahlias for this bouquet! Thank you :)
Any ball park on cost if I want to buy these similar types of flowers to make my own? I'm hoping to source from my local grocery store and Costco to make my own bouquet and bridesmaid's too. Mine will be ideally the same size in this video and the bridesmaids' will be a simplified version, maybe with just one rose and greenery. Still contemplating.
Hi! I recommend making the bouquet 1-2 days before the wedding, or, ideally, the morning of. To keep fresh put in clean, fresh water in a very cool area (not below 38 degrees) out of direct sunlight.
@@yulitunes I don't recommend the fridge, because it drys things out and the temps can be difficult to control. Hope that helps! Look for a cool/dark spot.

This is a great tutorial . How do you keep the flowers hydrated between pickup and the day of?
Hi Marie! Great question!
That is the brides/clients responsibility, but I recommend cool, dark location and changing of water.

Hello! Gorgeous arrangement. What width ribbon do you normally use - 2 inch, 3 inch, 4 inch, etc.? And thank you for suggesting the Lesser Bear.
Thank you! My preference is 3", but normally I use 2" because it's more readily available. Hope that helps!
Please do more video in variety and different type of flowers❤️❤️

Love the tool bag on your side. Where did u get it. Link please!!! Thanks
Hi! It was a gift from Floret Farm. :)
Where did you find these flowers? I don't know anything about planning weddings and stuff. How do you buy your bouquet?
I use wholesale suppliers. And also, flowers/greens picked from my garden.
Lovely and whimsical 😍😍

How many days before should you make your bouquet? Or how long do they last? Thinking of doing mine and bridesmaid to do theirs!!
I usually make it the day before the event. Best of luck!

Thanks!! Glad it helped you!
I've been having such a hard time liking this style. Why do I just love traditional 😭😭 it's beautiful I just love the round style
It’s ok! Design is so subjective, and round, classic can be so beautiful too. 🙂
Great video. Could you please tell me how to keep the bouquet fresh for a few hours?
Thank you! Yes, I just spritz it with some crowning glory and place it in a cool, shaded spot. Or, a cooler kept at 40 degrees is ideal too!
Absolutely in love with this arrangement. You do beautiful work! Do you have a recommendation on where you can order the bulk florals and greenery?
Thank you! I think Sam’s Club might be a decent bet if you’re not a florist with a wholesale account. Always check with your local farmers too!
LOVE THIS! What a beautiful bouquet
Thank you so much!
Wonderful clear tutorial - I look forward to more
Thank you Sue! We'll be making another video today, so stayed tuned! :)

Hi! Usually a bunch of each variety.
Yay its my grandmas birthday and my mommy pick to make a bouquet!

HI! I'm definitely late to the party on this one... but where can I get toffee color roses. Those are stunning. Any wholesalers you use?
