The only reason people like Sturgeon and Swinney are still in power is because they have exclusive access to this 'Indy' smokescreen that can mask their incompetence as politicians. Wouldve been gone a LONG time ago if they hadn't this get out of jail free card. Highest drug deaths in Europe. New hospitals not fit for purpose. Two ferries that are years overdue with an initial price tag of £97m thats now £400m but still don't float. Failing Scotlands next generation with Education spiralling down the world tables year on year etc etc etc With a record like that, it'll come as no surprise to you that the last people in Scotland that REALLY want independence is Sturgeon and Swinney. They need the UK govt to prop up their abysmal failures.
@@cmcc3721 I'll be watching the debate today on BBC news channel. Must likely the host the Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrats leaders will say to Sturgeon and Salmond if he's there, "Do you really think we should be talking about independence now we are still in the middle of the pandemic and a third wave coming from Europe?" They're right to say that Scotland needs to recover from the pandemic and help the NHS and help the people in Scotland and shouldn't be taking about independence.
@@jameslevy8347 The only tune Sturgeon has in her collection is the Indy one. She's got nothing else to sing about. An abysmal failure on all counts If the Indy brigade truly want to see independence one day they need to wake up and realise that no floating voter in Scotland is going to opt for this woman. Her credibility rating amongst the undecideds is less than zero. Chanting "Freedom" off the back of failure after failure only works for so long. Career politicians exploiting a movement to keep themselves in positions of power and the Indy brigade are absolutely blind to it. Her days are numbered, same goes for the rest of her clique.
@@jameslevy8347 SNP only got 45% of the Scottish vote in the GE just over a year ago. I doubt that'll be much different when it comes to the elections in May. To argue for another go at a referendum they'd need to reach +50% just to get the conversations started. If the Indy division had any sense at all they would refuse to endorse that liability parading as an FM and start again. She needs to be gone and depending on who replaces, i could possibly even be convinced to vote for independence once again. At this moment in time tho, the thought of those at the top of that party gaining complete control of Scotlands affairs sends a cold shiver up my spine.

@@cmcc3721 We all know if she wins the election. Boris won't give her another independence referendum.
