    Some people left you feedback on one of your Max videos complaining, but I like how real your videos are. They’re not commercials like others!

    Thanks for doing a hill test. I weigh 200lb, but people seem to always skip that very crucial information. I live in a very hilly city so I'm wondering how difficult I would have going up steep hills. However this is for my spouse who weighs 100lbs. My ebike is 500w and I never seem to have an issue climbing hills with the throttle alone. Would love to take the scooter out on occasion so I don't always have to drag my ebike down 3 flights of stairs.

    Just got mine. I live in Washington, D.C. and the roads here are pretty rough so I feel every bump. But, as you said, it's a tradeoff because I won't get any flat tires.

    Does the app on this allow you to adjust the acceleration speed like on the S2 pro?

    I also had the ninebot s2 plus and I have this too and I wannted to return one of them, which one would you return? The s2 plus the ninebt feels like a much better built scooter but it falls behind in speed and range and tire size. would you go for build quality of the ninebot or the specs and more comfort of the ks4? I paid only 70$ more to get the ks4 its a very tough choice.

    • @landpet
      @landpet  10 месяцев назад

      Personally, I prefer faster scooters but it’s your choice, just ask yourself which scooter you prefer to ride more. Which is the one you think of when you’re about to head out, that’s the one I would keep

  • @AsTheWheelsTurn

    this is a great scooter but wear safety gear. I bought one and shattered my wrist the very next day from hitting just a weird little dip in the pavement. it has pretty tall tires and they are hard, the suspension really does nothing so it is pretty easy to get yourself in a pickle real quick. now that I know it is this way I will be much more careful but yeah I am on week 8 recovering from a shattered wrist and $16000 surgery pretty much ruined my year. wear wrist and head protection for sure!!

      @@landpet difference according to the page,…
      The KS4 Pro electric scooter is upgraded with a more durable and sturdy frame that won't break. It also comes with a larger display showing more detailed of riding status.
      The S2 Pro regenerate battery when going downhill or uses the brake

    • @danielt6939
      @danielt6939 2 года назад +1

      What is the difference between hiboy s2 and hiboy ks4 ?
      1. The KS4 has a bigger larger display and a redesigned handlebar part and front light.
      2. Its steering tube and frame are much tougher and stronger.
      3. And the S2 comes with a separated disc brake and electronic brake, but KS4's front electronic brake and rear disc brake are all integrated in the left brake lever, which means when you press on the left brake lever, both the front electronic brake and rear disc brake will be working at the same time.
      4. S2's charging port is located on the top position around handlebar, but KS4's charging port is on the frame's downtube position, this way you don't need to hang the charging cable on the air during charging.

      I see most people have the s2 pro which seem like a nice scooter

    Was torn between this and L9. Took a chance on the L9. Weight and hills are not a concern where I live. Brand, reliability and software-stability are. Was nervous about slickness in the rain. Which would you have chosen?

    • @landpet
      @landpet  2 года назад

      They're both good. This one is lighter and fits in trunks much easier. L9 is more bulky but it has a bit more power and is a tad bit smoother. It's a tough choice cause I think the hiboy is more portable and is a better deal considering what you're getting but the L9 also has the range advantage. Depends on your scenario, I think L9 is fine.

    How is it going back up that hill?

    • @landpet
      @landpet  2 года назад

      It does struggle on the hills, if you're 200 lbs or more and you want something that can do hills with ease you need something stronger. One suggestion is the Apollo Phantom, it goes up hills with no issues but it does cost over double the price. If you want something in this price range that can do hills a bit better than this, check out the NIU KQi3 Pro, I've done a review on that as well.

    I considering upgrading from the s two model. But i've grown so accustomed to the ebrake. In the e break on the s too is just to sensitive For me to ever use. I wouldn't wanna be stuck with just one break. How does the brake compare to the s two model. And why is this a better upgrade over the s2 pro? What would be the big difference?
