I appreciate you covering this scooter..Wish there were more long term reviews on the S2 Max version. Lot of videos on the s2 pro but not max. Only seen the one with the 750 mile review. Id like to see someone break dowm all the little things after 6 months or a year of riding it I have one coming in a few days and other than this and the other video kinda going in blind. Just seems like only 3 or 4 people bought this scooter. Been out a while now and not a lot of feedback..

You're a lot braver than me to ride a scooter that does only 19 miles per hour in traffic. I have a scooter that does 37mph and I wouldn't do that.

Hi , how to lock manually !?
My Bluetooth , is wierd. Shows off , then asked me to reset and keep doin over and over .
First few days was great , easy to lock and turn on/of !

this one has the air tires?im looking to get a escooter.had a s2 pro last year .was satified except the range was like 12-15 instead of the 25 that claims to be.i saw a videos on how to fix the flat on the max and just getting the tire off seemed like a pain in the rear.wish they sold the max with the hard tires.

No problem! I've added the u-lock link to the description of the video. The attachment comes with the lock and it’s easy to install.
Unfortunately, I cannot agree with your review, although it is very well written and documented. I received yes exact scooter the first week of december. Exactly 95 days later the entire frame cracked in half. Luckily, I was able to convince customer service to send me a new one expeditiously as I mailed this one back to them in pieces. Now, hardly 6 weeks later, I have a flat on my back tire and I am in the same predicament again. I recommend to you and anyone else looking to purchase this scooter to see just how difficult it is to replace or repair the back tire. That might change everyone's view on the entire thing.
l have this scooter. Lots of power. Except that it has no suspension, l love everything about it.

Use some red lock tight. That should do the trick. As for tires.. hmm not sure.

While shocks would have been nice, i just keep bendy knees and let my body naturally bounce with the bumps. Comfortable? No. Usable? Oh yeah.
Everything else about the scooter is great. The range is perfect for a small town. I weigh 125 pounds and it maintains 19mph even up most of my towns inclines.
Why is the indicator flashing so much in the video? Is that how camera captured it or it is actually flashing like that in real life?

Going down hill and up hill 16) In jamaica. Does your App have GPS?.. Hey app needs to tell us how many miles we have done? If not can you ask Hiboy to do it on a update please. needs it badly. And need to put a Bluetooth speaker on all scooters so you can have a motorbike sounds your video was great I'm following you 🙏🏽 😇

So torn between ks4 pro and s2 max. The range really pushing me towards the max. I’m 214lbs
I am 250lbs. It pulls me up hills. I am really surprised. Owned it going on 2 weeks now.
Was there a mention of the true range or dis I miss it?
It’s about 15-18 miles.

@@WilliamShakerTechWOW. That's a HUGE difference from the 25-40.4 miles that they claim in the product description (came here from Amazon). Was looking at this and the Segway max, but realized that both have been out for a few years. Might just end up going for something newer.
What was the range that you got on yhis?
Tip: whatever range manufacturers print.. divide it by 2 and that’s what your range is.
Using cruise control up hills can cause wires to melt. It's using full power for long extended amounts of time. Or having regen all the way up going down hills.
Real range is always half the claimed range minus 5-10 kms
they should have had SHOCKS on that

@WilliamShakerTech for the money and where I live I went ahead and purchased an phantom v3. Hopefully i can maintenance it and keep it good for years so I dont have to buy another scooter. 19mph seems ok for a max speed in city settings but I have a little more open road where I stay. 41 seems excessive but like the idea of being able vs not. Will test out the s2 max tomorrow.

I ride it 5 minutes to work. Barely makes it up the hill. Batter is low within 3 days or so. Scooter is more than a year old.

Many posts lately about the S2 series having stem breaks in the same spot. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!
I totally disagree. I have 2 different hiboy scooters. And also have this hiboy scooter. And this scooter is probably the best single motor scooter on the market. I'm sorry a stem does not break if you're riding it properly and maintaining the scooter. And if it did happen it's very rare. But I will put my money on people most likely misusing the scooter.
@@chrisdudley8366 it's your funeral, you've been warned. There was no misuse. There's a manufacturing defect. The stem breaks in the same exact spot where the welding is every instance reported.
