I like the X2 Pro...That thing turned my phone into a portable xbox. For some reason I game longer when I'm playing on Mt phone even though I'm sitting in front of a 55 inch 4k Uhd Samsung curve & and Xbox series x
Great review as always. The added fan is a great plus. I don’t do much gaming on my phone but I’ve played a couple and I felt like my phone was going to melt. Nice feature for sure.

If the game supports touch screen controls as well I would guess so! I haven’t tried it personally with one hand on the controller and the other on the screen but it’s a pretty great idea!
Does the Gamesir X3 work with a iPhone 15 Pro Max ?
I liked the idea of a cooling solution, but I disliked even more the fact that it doesn't have analog triggers. Because of that, I bought the X2 PRO version. The heat reduction is welcome, but I thought the analog triggers would be more useful cuz the amount of heat reduction brought by the cooling solution didn't seen to me to be that much significant.
Love that you can swap the buttons around. Always preferred the SNES format of buttons.
The USB-C plug that changed side makes it a no buy for me. Gamesir 2 is pretty much the only controller that work well with with a Samsung fold (unless you want the screen to unfold downward instead of upward.) This is pretty disappointing to me :
I pre-ordered the fold 4(just shipped) and I can understand and relate to this disappointment.

Well gosh darn, I'd get the 3 just for the cooling function. i plan on playing those survival games once they release so yeah lol

The Gamesir x2 has an iPhone version so I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before the x3 does as well.

Actually no. As long as the usb c cable is plugged into the fan spot the fan turns on

Hello guys. Good video. Is it possible to power the cooler from controller usb c while the phone is plugged in with a usb c to usb c cable or an usb c adapter ? Kinda not efficient to always carry my powerbank to get the fan working you know.
Thanks for your question and yes we agree that it isn't ideal to not be able to use the fan without another form of power. We aren't sure how you get around using that fan without a power bank or another charger. There are gaming phones that have two USB C's that could make that possible but not sure of another way to get around it. The first thing we tried was taking a USB c cable from the one side to the fan hoping that would allow the phone to power it but unfortunately not. We wish there was another solution as the fan works great but not ideal for how to use it

I was gonna get the 3 but seems kinda pointless if it has to be plugged in for the fan to work. Think I might get the 2 instead
Yeah we were a little sad about that too. Especially since it has its own plugin just for the fan. So if you wanted to power your phone and the fan at the same time you would need two cables! The fan does make a slight difference but so far not enough that I’ve seen it affect gameplay at all
Deal breaker for me, you have to plug 🔌 it to power, I order the X2 USB-C type.

@@nieveskid95You can use it, but not the fan. Which makes the fan completely pointless for mobile use. So yeah, as long as you don't run into real heat issues, the X2 is better overall (and cheaper).
The cooling pad is not good. There is an air gap between the phone and the cooling pad.

Most of these style controllers have charging passthrough but don't people say not to charge your phone while putting it through heavy use. Like, it's bad for the battery, right?
Doesn't really damage your phone. Charging can cause heating in the battery and so does usage. Higher temps means throttled performance so you'll get hiccups and framdrops. No actual damage to your phone.
Yes, it is sorta bad for the battery, it shortens it's lifespan. Not heavily however, you're probably shortening it far more when you use 'wireless' charging.
Can you plug in headphones while using the Gamesir line?
Not on either of the ones we own (X3 and X2). We wish they did as we much prefer to use our wired headphones.

@@aquariandawn4750 No problem and we're happy to help. The Backbone will be coming to Android and shipping in November. It will have a headphone jack. We haven't used any other devices that have one which is unfortunate.

I hear the gamesir app offers overlays. Does it need dumb methods like a computer to use it or root which i hate to do.
I got the kushi blindly. Why it doesn't work with cod idk. xbox seris x controller works fine with it.
