For those of you who are going to purchase a firearm I would like to give some advice who am I well nobody important but somebody who has had extensive weapons training. If you’re not going to train a lot with your firearm I would suggest a revolver for a handgun, there’s no safety that needs to be fumbled with and in the dark it is the points and pull the trigger tool. Don’t be fooled into believing that you need a laser anything batteries go dead and honestly other than in the movies not the best course of action for accuracy. Train with your weapon make sure that you are familiar with it how it functions and all safety concerns. Remember if you have children you have a great responsibility to make sure that that weapon is secured at all times I repeat that you have A responsibility to make sure that weapon is secured at all times. One recommendation that is very important is for you to understand ballistics understand what you are using in that tool that we call a gun. Off-the-shelf ammunition can work however find out what will absolutely stop a perpetrator because you may only get one shot to protect you and your family make sure ammunition that you are using in that firearm is effective! Understand there is a transfer of kinetic energy that does the damage not poking a hole through somebody but how much force slams in to their organs and vitals. God bless you God bless your family let’s take back our homes and our streets from the thugs and criminals!
my kids[[4 rottweilers]] are always interested in my guns when they see them laying around.. but i have yet to have had a issue.. joking aside.. yes goto the range regularly. and use HP ammo... for self defense become one with your firearm.. so that its a normal as pumping fuel in your car for you.
Lotsa laughs. For home self defense, I much rather have a .22LR revolver. I'm not going into war n no need for the heavy artillery. I much rather hit me target w/.22LR than make a whole lota noise n miss w/a .44 Magnum. And, a revolver doesn't jam.
