Good video with awesome tips. Can you tell me what clockspring part number you used? I'm having trouble even finding this part on the official Nissan parts store. The closest i get is the housing.
Thanks for the compliment about the video! I'm grateful it was of assistance. Here's the Partsgeek part # for the component the owner purchased. I hope you get yours sorted with minimal fuss. W0133-2546445
Hi, i have a problem that flashing air bag and horn toots when I press cruise control on, obd fault codes B1049 .my car nissan nv 200 model 2012, thank you
Joshua, I have 2009 Nissan Rogue with 180,000 miles. I have the same issue. Is there any danger to continue driving like this besides no airbag? If I did take it to a mechanic any idea what I can expect to spend? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the coment and compliment! Negative, there should be no driveability issues with just the airbag light on. The only other items that could be affected over time would be the horn and cruise control not functioning. Otherwise, it's just like an old car without airbags. Regarding if you choose to take it to a mechanic. First of all, you should check aroumd and see if anyone will replace a part you purchase. Of course letting them know any warranty issues with the component you'd take care of. Best guess is you'd be looking in the tune of $400-500. Parts markups are where most shops gouge consumers. And with the part, even for a consumer being expensive, I'd expect a hefty markup from most repair facilities. Hope that helps and best wishes in getting your dilemma sorted! Shalom!

@@joshuaanothereraseddad Thank you so much!
@@paulavettaYou're welcome.
The horn works and the wheel lights up but that is all for me. I got a fault for the airbag and I got a fault for the cruise control switch.
Definitely a bad clockspring. I installed a used one and it's been working fine for a while now. I hope you can get yours sorted.

I'd suspect the clockspring has failed my friend. Seems to be a common problem.
