You're welcome! That's great to hear your Rolla is ticking right along. Make sure to change the transmission fluid as well. They are simple drain and fill. Regarding oil consumption, mine leaks oil at the timing chain tensioner and oil pan. So far it doesn't seem like it's been burning oil. Keep an eye on the cam chain tensioner as the o-ring on them fails and leaks. I hope you can keep it rolling to the 300k mark!

Check for lose connections in the break box. Sometimes neutrals can come lose causing something similar to what you are describing. Otherwise, it could just be too much power being drawn on one 15A breaker. But those are merely just guesses from previous experiences. I'm not a pro. I hope you can figure it out.

There's a number of potential culprits that can cause flickering. It could be the wrong style bulb (non-dimmable) in a socket connected to a dimable switch. Or it could be a bad socket. Otherwise, you'll want to inspect for loose connections at the breaker panel and switches. Mobile homes are outfitted with terrible pressure fit style switches and outlets. That's where the wires are just press fit into the switch or socket. They should be upgraded to screw type when possible.

I don't have any experience with Bosch in way of their spark plugs. Maybe I'll do an experiment one day. 🤔

I've never had good success at all with them. Furthermore, all vehicles that I've encountered that have had them installed in, I've swapped out for OEM and the vehicles immediately ran better. I cannot recommend them.

Same opinion here, never had any problems with Autolite and I've used them on all different makes and models.

I disagree based on 30 years of personal experience.

I've had too many problems with them. Including with my own 06 Corolla that I purchased two years ago and someone had the bright idea to use them. Swapped them and the car instantly ran better. Plus got an additional 5-7 mile's per gallon Absolute garbage plugs.

I'm NGK and Denso. Currently a set of Denso plugs in my 06 Rolla with 50k on them and it's still get mid30 mpg.

I use them in small engines, but not automobiles.

@boondockunlocked2995 No doubt that's crazy! I've never had a problem with'em in small engines. I mean, nothing more than mowers and pressure washer applications, and only if that's what the OEM is.

@@harryconkle3391and build quality- many manufacturers (even OEM providers) have problems with quality nowadays. The data-sheets claim one thing, the real life tests tell a different story. Pretty sad actually :/

The best of the best aside from denso in my opinion I just did a Corolla that was misfiring she only needed one coil and plug plus the valve cover bc it and the plug seals were blown so it was forcing oil into the tube and she said do all 4 plugs coils and fuel injectors and now the car runs absolutely perfect I recommended one injector because I saw it visibly leaking which after we finished putting on the new ones no more leak

@Darth.vader512 wordd. Thanks for the advice. I recently purchased the truck, and when i pulled them, all plugs were toast. Sounds a bit like the Corolla you just did. I want to do a tear down and do valve cover gasket, and check the lifters and rockers because it sounds like a slight knock but was much more quiet and smooth initially off the plug change

I use Denso in my 06 Rolla and I'm 50k strong still getting mid30 mpg. NGK and Denso are all I'll use. 👍

I've used Denso on Yotas with good success.

I use NGKs on everything I sometimes use Denso and Bosch when I don't find NGK and all 3 of them are very good

@@junglejones been pulling them out of Chryslers for 20 years and haven’t broken one yet. There is a reason for everything they do at a manufacturer level. If it ran better on NGK, they use them, if champion hits better, they use them. Never seen an auto lite from a manufacturer because they don’t usually hold up to 100,000 mile intervals.

Autolites are the only plugs that my hemi likes. It runs like crap with any other plug.

You should be able to use pliers and manually turn transfer case to neutral.

Nah, I'm good haha! I can't remember, but I think it was the first gen CRV that actually required cutting the glovebox support rail to access the filter without disaasembling the dash.

Good for you, but that doesn't negate the fact thousands upon thousands of owners had consistent problems with theirs. Chronic waterpump, transmission and brake master cylinder failures. Let alone just driving one is comparable to a 2000 era Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's just plain awful.

I don't reckon I'd say thousands, but a few hundred at best haha! Not sure if I see more 1st gen Neons or H3s at this point? 😁 Ultimately, all manufacturers produce vehicles good and bad straight off the assembly line. It's just some models tend to have more that lean toward the not so good side. PT Cruisers instantly come to mind, or the Focus/Fiesta transmission debacle. Like I stated to another's comment regarding the H3, all three owners I've personally known have had nothing but problems. They've all since moved onto other vehicles. So, as you and others have found a few, "diamonds in the rough", it still does not make it a vehicle one should just run out and willy-nilly purchase as a daily driver.
