I'm more of a K.I.S.S. method type of driver. If I need a calculator then I'm working too hard. A 220 mile run takes 4 hours. A 500 mile run takes 10 hours. Start to finish. That allows for pre-trips, fuel, traffic (in most areas) and 30 min breaks. The method is simple mental math take the first number of the 3 digit number and double it. If you're traveling through any major city during rush hour then add 1 after you double. You'll be early (but not too early) 99% of the time. And you won't be speeding to arrive on time.
Thank you so much for the consultation!!! After speaking with you I felt much more confident about starting my business. Now i have notes to go back and refer to about truck types, load boards/brokers, setting up llc, tax structure, hiring drivers, full vs partial loads, etc. I highly recommend this consultation for anyone looking to get into trucking. And thank you for putting out all this information. We appreciate you

Not only was I called on time, but it was pleasantly surprised to get a call from Dave himself. The call was super informative and I left the conversation seeing my goals with a lot more clarity thanks to Dave. Please keep doing your thing sir !

Just had my first consultation with David it was fantastic. David is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and open to discuss whatever questions you might have. The consultation was well worth the money. David answered my questions honestly and he was very candid when discussing some of the ins and outs of the business. I’m planning to schedule more time with him as I work through this process of starting my trucking company. I highly recommend that you reach out to him if you’re looking to start or grow your company.

I highly recommended you schedule yours today you will find his approach to be supportive as well as directive which in my opinion are both ingredients for the recipe for success! “ Measure twice cutt once”

Thank you, David, I was able to learn everything from your channel all the details, however, after our call, I was able to go to the points I had missed and we covered of course them. For everyone looking for consulting is worth it, just do research on your missing points so David will help out real quick.Thank you :)

Hey David, thank you for sending me in the right direction and sharing your knowledge with me. You answered a lot of questions I was struggling with and tightened me up. I appreciate it. God bless!!
Had a consult with David. Definitely underpriced right now in my opinion. If you're serious about starting a trucking company I'd definitely recommend making a list of all your questions and scheduling a call. 💯
I use to look up the traveling distance and time on Google. Then I look at the time is supposed to be delivered. Then I add an additional 1hour and 30mins to buffer time. For instance, let’s say I have to deliver a load that is 878.1 miles and it takes 12 hours and 10 minutes of travel time. Let’s say the load has to be delivered on Monday by 3pm. I calculated the time zone I enter then leave an additional 1 to 2 hours of drive time. Then I add maybe an additional hour for stops and breaks. So I started traveling 3 to 4 hours earlier than needed. Do you think this is a good method or should I punch in numbers as you just described in the video.
Just finished my 1 hour consultation with David. It was very informative and I learned a lot. Thank you so much for the opportunity to speak with you and for using your platform to educate and spread your knowledge about the trucking industry. I am super excited about getting started as an Owner! You're super down to earth and I truly enjoyed the conversation. Thanks David! I will be up and running by December 2020!!!

.72 doesn’t represent minute-minutes. It is decimal minutes; that’s why the conversion is needed. .50 of an hour is 30 mins (.50*60mins). So .72 of an hour is 43.2 mins (.72*60). I hope this made it clearer.
