Something that could have been included that I found out is, if u can get the hang of lunar landing. You can short hop up air then buffer an arial to lunar land. I can’t get the timing so this helped me a lot. Ty so much for this I just thought this would help.

Thanks for these. I don't play super often but I do main Rosalina. I knew a little bit of this, and I'm not surprised I didn't know about the harder stuff, but I had no idea that you could angle the F Smash like you can with Lucina's Neutral B.
I wanted to learn Rosalina, but holy shit this is such a commitment. I am not really good with a lot of the characters who have a great recovery, so I wanted to get a main who could get back to the fucking stage. Rosalina is so advanced, I feel like the skill floor with using her is even above my level. I can't land a RAR or ACBA consistently, and now these are some of her most rewarding techniques to have... Web-Wrecker I totally agree, there’s always something new to learn Good question, I might cover this more in depth in the future, I tend to stay around mid range so my opponent still feels pressured and I rely a lot on zoning with well spaced back airs. When they’re on the ground I try to dash back and catch their landing with a dash attack or grab. I try to punish like I would if I had Luma, but my Neutral is definitely more defensive / passive as my back airs are usually used while drifting away
That suggestion to map jump to L is helping me quickly turn my accidental DAC-fairs into DAC-nairs. I never grab with L anyway lol... And now I'm wondering in what other ways can playing other fighters benefit from having a left hand jump button available 🤔
Great vid! When doing DAC nair I often get the dash attack with luma but get a Rosa aerial that isn't nair (bair, fair, upair). What am I doing wrong and how can I get nair consistently?
After jump cancelling Luma’s dash attack, Rosa will start using an aerial within 3 frames. If you’re still holding the control stick in any direction, it will cause Rosa to use an aerial in that direction instead of Nair. Sometimes this can be useful but usually Nair is preferred due to how much faster it is. So right after you input your dash attack or jump, try to quickly release the control stick, then resume drifting. It sounds like you’re really close to getting it down consistently and trust me it gets much easier once you get a feel for it.
I don't think grab release can true combo into up smash in this game (maybe if the opponent doesn't have their double jump tho) You can however forward throw into luma up smash at low %
Either stage can be good depending on the matchup and your play style. Personally my favorite stage is Hollow Bastion! I do also love small battlefield
You play rosa almost exactly how i do. It has always bugged me how dabuz hardly attack canels with her and because he is the most notable rosa most people follow that. I feel like the best way to play rosa is so use lunar landing and attack cancels to wall off your opponent until they make a mistake and then use them to get off a huge combo. People really dont get her potential because of how dabuz plays her

Lumeckos sounds like you’re doing everything correct except letting go of the control stick before your aerial comes out. Make a point that the moment you input a dash attack, stop moving for a few frames, then once the Nair starts, you can move again. No claw, I just dash attack with the C stick, then jump with L
Ivan Guzman Ivan Guzman If you want to spike with Rosa you need to hit around the base, and if you have Luma with you, you need to hit with rosa’s backside as Luma’s down air will take priority (see part 2 of my guide) And I just use starbits to tack on some damage when luma isn’t quite in range for down tilt
I have been trying to practice Rosa but I am not able to consistently do reserve Luma shot even when trying to flick my joystick as fast as possible, is there any solution to help?
I have a Frying Pan as a hat. Well you shouldn’t go as fast as possible as that will probably input starbits If you get starbits go slower If you get a regular luma shot go faster Also try practicing in slower speeds if you can’t figure out when to input it Hope that helps some
Definitely practice in training mode at 1/4 speed to get a feel for the quick 1-2-3 sequence, then gradually increase the speed to 1/2, 2/3, then 1 & Remember, the only difference between a dac wavedash (or tilt cancel wavedash) is the extra input with Z at the end

As much as I’d like to make a video on it, there isn’t much to it other than pressing the ‘A’ button VERY quickly 4 times. Try it out on 2/3 speed in the training room to a get a feel for it. I think I can only do it as consistently as I do due to all the Mario party I’ve played in the past XD Let me know if you get it down!

Secondly, luma’s up air hits a bit in front of Rosa’s and has less knockback so if you hit an opponent that’s in front of you, you might hit with just Luma. Ideally you want both Rosa and Luma to hit at the same time.

it helps for any attack cancels, but I’d say Rosa makes the best use out of attack cancels
