First time hearing Bleachers, if I had to describe the music in one word, "authentic" is what came to mind. Not sure exactly what that even means lol, that's just what my brain decided. I guess because the music really feels like it's pulling no punches, it's not trying to reel you in or trick you (ironic since he talks about tricking people), it's just honest. The lyrics, the music, the vocals, it's just all so direct and ... authentic.

not very polished with live vocals but thats how you can tell how talented of a producer he is. like this is rough but all the studio cuts sound great. and on all the songs for other artists you can here how well he can write and produce.

Genius. Can't get any better. Grew up with Daniel Johnston and he was very raw at what he did. My brother was Daniel's guitar player for many years because the psych meds caught up with him. RIP Daniel and Brett Hartenbach.

Human and raw expression of emotion through music.

It's so wonderful when the artist is like "this is the part you'll cut right?" And Bob just in the background laughing maniacally in his head because _nothing_ gets cut
