Today I learned Bleachers is just Jack Antonoff
But it's a band too, with other people.
TheDuffyGMER64 the band only performs with him live.
@@DuffyLONER64 he is a band himself
Amiee and it’s great!
Foo Fighters is much the same way. The band is just for live shows. Dave writes all the songs himself.
And this is why jack is my favorite Songwriter and producer.
swear i could watch jack explain and work on songs for hours
Jack Antanoff is a living legend. This man makes me so happy in his songs, shows and also amazingly insightful interviews like these. I love him so fckin much!
GayEEEEEE
@@chrish9485 Your mom
I love seeing how people work and show off their craft. Thank you Jack for all your heart and hard work in your projects!
4:20 Holy cow. So he intentionally created that contrast between brute/heavy drums and emotional high notes. Almost the same feeling as seeing a tough/big guy become emotional. He managed to create that contrast in this song and I didn’t fully realize that until watching this video. This is just pure art.
That drum beat sounds a bit radio gaga ish
This is a genius at work, people. We should all feel so blessed to be alive when he's alive and working.
Don't ever stop making these BTS videos. Seeing your process is one of the coolest things ever. You are so freaking rad and we are lucky to have your music out there!
This man is the BOSS musically. It annoys me knowing the charts are full of people that can only sing. And some of them can't even do that.
Well, he did produce Taylor Swift's 1989 among others so he's no stranger to the charts.
He’s worked on popular records like Melodrama, 1989, reputation, a lot of Lana Del Rey, so I’m sure he’s familiar with the spotlight
@@WyhattMP4 Lol a lot of Lana Del Rey? he only produced one Lana's album NFR tho.
anisa nurraudah ohh okay im not too knowledgeable on lana albums so thank you
@@anisanurraudah8383 look up Jack Antonoff discography and you’ll find a whole list of things he wrote- there’s more than one Lana del ray song on there
Jack antonoff you actual WIZARD
5:40: Jack Antonoff literally slaps a keyboard and makes beautiful music.
Talking heads time
SUCH A GORGEOUS SONG and even more beautiful to see how it was created
Jack is a genius, flat out. He's on another level when it comes to song creation and creativity. What I'd give to have an ounce of his creativity and ingenuity.
Jack is testament to the fact that pop music can still be a thriving, hands on creative environment in the digital age.
Jack is so talented & his thought process behind creating this song is insane!
Jack Antonoff is a daddy
Daddy jacks Anton off.
that’s on period too!
@@Aryatheapify this is so underrated.
You can take my money!
Genuinely one of my favorite songs of my life so far. The pace, the production, the composition, the lyrics...I've listened to it so many times and I just can't get over it. I love it with my entire being.
Myself and the entire team (Bleachers) appreciate you for your kind words. Thanks for the endless support and encouragement, feel free to email me share your thoughts, thanks: bleachersmusicofficial@gmail.com
You should do one for Everybody Lost Somebody!
rolandpointoh and I miss those days
He just did one for I Miss Those Days on a podcast called Song Exploder
Yes!!! That song is so underrated
rolandpointoh. i would love to see this for that song!!!!!
How many instruments can you play?
This man: YES!
Such an incredible talented composer! And so underrated as well.
This song is so powerful. Hearing each part come together gives me CHILLS
I can watch these kind of behind the scenes videos all day
This makes me love bleachers even more shows me so much about how they make such great music
Interesting to watch the process. Still hoping for an acoustic-only album/EP with Lorde like your last live performance with her. That was so pure and magical.
This is why I love Jack Antonoff so much. He puts in so much time and talent into his songs that actually have real meaning behind them. Can't wait to see this live in concert!
Great video, thank you - I can't speak for everyone but I imagine others would also love to see more of these videos for both your own songs and ones you've worked on.
Phil Buckley-Mellor Absolutely! I love seeing the creative process behind each song!
I love hearing the different sounds broken down. There are so many layers to that song that I wasn't even consciously registering.
Holy shit this is insane and awesome
Okay wtf this video is incredible I am so in love
This man is so insanely talented.
This was amazing, I'll never forget how I felt when I first heard this song and to watch how you made it was truly inspiring! So talented!
Myself and the entire team (Bleachers) appreciate you for your kind words. Thanks for the endless support and encouragement, feel free to email me share your thoughts, thanks: bleachersmusicofficial@gmail.com
Wow brilliance. No wonder Lorde hooked up with him for melodrama. Two brilliant artists one brilliant album.
Is this what genius looks like?
where are his shorts?
This man is so amazing . I love his style of music and how he can create something that makes people feel nostalgic.
Makes me appreciate the song so much more. He used descriptive words and feelings to describe sounds like, it was alive and in the streets. I can envision it. Love.
fucking genius
Probably one of the finest pop songs of the 2000’s.
man this is so great to see an artist show how he creates a track
. wish all artists did this.
Love how he points out radio ga ga
Just saw him last night in Dallas for the second time.... He's such a talented musician. He knows his history so it just fucking works.
Myself and the entire team (Bleachers) appreciate you for your kind words. Thanks for the endless support and encouragement, feel free to email me share your thoughts, thanks💞: bleachersmusicofficial@gmail.com
I've only began listening to The Bleachers last year, and I swear they're part of my Top 3 artists ever. Pure brilliance and skill. Jack Antonoff you are to die for! Never stop making music please!
Even the process of making the masterpiece makes me feel in awe. He's so amazing, what a mind he has
My enjoyment level for these breakdown videos is approaching dangerous degrees dude
Like watching an Alchemist in his Laboratory... Love the music you make man.
That part in 2:55 reminds me of a similar pattern that Jack Antonoff made with Lorde, including the secondary producers on the second pre-chorus of Lordes Melodrama's track Supercut. It's like rhythmic pauses that the Synth's make 👌
I think that moment was actually Joel Little's doing.
Man you're such a genius, my only regret about you is I've only discovered you in 2021
i could watch Jack make music for hours.
On my knees for your talent, Jack!
This is actually really interesting to watch. Please make more of these
i could watch this for HOURS i'm so amazed by his talent
You steal the air out of my lungs you make me feel it
I am absolutely in love with this man. If I could ever be half as good of a producer and musician he is, I'd consider my self hella lucky.
Incredible songwriter!
Love Jack to death this is a real artist who makes his music
He's taking my money tomorrow. Im so excited. He is so good live
Myself and the entire team (Bleachers) appreciate you for your kind words. Thanks for the endless support and encouragement, feel free to email me share your thoughts, thanks: bleachersmusicofficial@gmail.com
But he said “Don’t Take the Money”!
A real musical genius. I love you Jack, I admire you!!!
This album is so beautiful. Love the reoccurring themes throughout. Thank you man 🙏
one of my favorite songs this year, great job! you truly are a master of your craft
Im obsessed with your songs and productions, your work makes me feel happy and filled me with purpose. It reminds me why I decided to sing and why I really love music. I still dreaming about the opportunity to make music with you, is something that probably will never happen, but I like to dream about it.
Such an awesome, in-depth look into the layers of the song. I love how you explain each instrument and why you put it in, what it made you feel and how it all comes together. So awesome.
This gave me CHILLS! I fell in love with this song bc it has this hopeful, wistful indulgence to it...but at the same time almost something cynical about relationships, amd the eventuality of us falling into patterns. I still feel like this belongs in a john Hughes film. It has that 80's "hope" to it- like 'yeah, I'm a geek but MAYBE just maybe Jake Ryan and I are gonna kiss over my birthday cake after all". Fuck, I love this.
Myself and the entire team (Bleachers) appreciate you for your kind words. Thanks for the endless support and encouragement, feel free to email me share your thoughts, thanks💖: bleachersmusicofficial@gmail.com
You are genius, the fact that you let us in on how you make songs is very inspiring.Very talented. Thank you!
I’ve been on a writers block for a year now. This inspired me. Amazing

Dude you’re so legit. Also, making music is so much fun. I love seeing others artists’ minds at work. Thanks for sharing. Also, this song gets me so hyped.
amazing stuff man! impressive, it is so nice to see how a song you love was made. Talented and humble, keep the good work 🔝👏
This made my entire day. Please make more of these!!!
This video is awesome Jack. Love to see you're creation process !
I wish more artist would talk so down to earth about this stuff. Guy talks like a normal dude you would see playing at a local bar. Studio looks like your normal studio. Crazy that his music feels so powerful. Good stuff
Can't wait for Jack to become more succesful than what he already is!
Sincerely a Bleachers fan. 💕👏
Jack is so lush. Love it. Love him.
Thank you Jack; what a great insight. Your song sounds amazing, and has such an infectious rhythm and tonality about it. Love it.
