It's the French, they have a history of losing, but also of dragging others down with them.
Not really, its just cool and trendy to hate on them. People like to say this because in WW2 they surrendered quickly and considering their strength didn't perform well but keep in mind they were facing basically the full might of the Nazi army. Around 60,000 French soldiers were killed between May and June. The German military lost 30 percent of its tanks and planes during the Battle of France. Its death toll is estimated at 27,000 killed and missing in June and 21,000 in May so they didn't just put up the white flag but they were not anywhere near properly prepared either but considering they were facing nazi Germany pretty much head on they fought OK, almost killed as many Germans as their losses despite superb German blitzkrieg which is what must have led to chaos among French leaders and to collapse.
The French won WW1 just years prior, Russia for example did a treaty unlike the French who fought all the way through. The French also defeated the British in the Americas, they were crucial in defeating the British, basically the French get hate because its cool yet many countries fell much quicker to nazi Germany and their blitzkrieg since they just were not ready for such quick moving force. I don't think any military historian would consider the French to be among the countries quick to surrender and be pushed around.
I also have no idea where you got the info French are dragging others down with them, they fought side by side with allies many times in the past so tell me which exact point in history are you referring to because I think you are full of brown stuff?

France back then during world war 2 will remain to the ground without US help that shows how weak the country is relying to others. And Russia? They comeback from being oppressed and lost when the operation Barbarosa they won without relying to anyone
@@Bajtjr France did not win WWI, the British held the Germans at bay and the Americans finished the job. France lost the franco-prussian war, lost to Mexico, lost to Spain and Russia (Napoleon), lost to England repeatedly, Japan, Indochina, Algeria, and Belgium. Did I leave any one out?
