- Here's a few links for my favorite credit cards. I try to check the links often, but let me know if there is a problem. If they change the offer on the card, I may need to update the link. Full disclosure, I get a few airline miles for referring a new customer. You should get the same public offer at no additional cost. Thank you very much.

If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.
The Soi walk arounds are excellent information.
Thanks!
Thanks for checking them out. More on the way
Big fan of On Nut, I stayed there for 6 months on my last trip. Probably gonna stay there again, everything you need is within walking distance.
I agree. I lived on Soi 77 for a year. I moved to Phrom Phong but On Nut is nice
@@EagerExpat How does Phrom Phong compare? More/less cost and convenience?
Great videos! You just came up on my feed yesterday and I’ve already subscribed and watched quite a few vids. I like your video quality and editing. Can I ask what your go to camera is and editing software?
Thanks man. I keep it simple. I've used a Sony 6400 and Go Pro 9, 10 11. These days it's A Samsung S22 ultra at 1080. 4k takes to long to edit. I put out a video a day. Sometimes 2. I just use Filmora software. I make 3 second clips. Adjust the audio a bit so it doesn't pop between clips. Pretty simple looks around town. I'm out watching a great band tonight. And filming. Hope you follow along. Later
My favorite Thai Beer is Singha.
Good stuff
Thanks for the heads up on the razor price. Gotta stock up.
Yes, bring razors. Disposible is cheap. But cartridges are expensive. If you're from the US, bring stick deodorant. They have 99% Ban roll on or spray here. I'm not picky, but I like the gel type. The roll-on works, but most guys have a favorite like Speed Stick, etc..
@EagerExpat thanks. I do have about a years worth of deodorant packed. (Costco)
@@tomyum6163 Good plan. This isn't weather to experiment with new stuff
@@EagerExpat When did the ban happen? I was there in April and you could still buy it.
@@dave3k No Ban. Ban roll on was a US brand in the 1990's. I've never seen Speed Stick or Gillette stick in Thailand. I've looked at every market. Where did you see it? I' talking about the solid stick type. I just see spray on or roll on. I need the good stuff. I saw a stick at the mall, Clinique brand for $12 US
People brush all over the world, but apart from US and Canada, I havent seen this much variety of toothpastes under a single roof.
Ha ha. Lots of choices. I'm not a fan of salt. But, I gave it a try
@@EagerExpat Hope you liked it. I would go for an herbal toothpaste if they have one. I bet stuff there would be cheaper than in US.
You won't believe I never shave at home here in Bangladesh, I shave at the saloon haircut and shave is 2.50 USD here. Well I do shave my pubertys on my own 😂
That's a nice haircut
@@EagerExpat Thanks mate
How have you found moving to Thailand as a single person, have you found it easy for opportunities to meet new people and make friends?
Ya man. I'm pretty social so I always meet people. I would suggest meetup dot, Com. Plenty of Expat meets. You'll meet plenty of Thai people that speak English. Plus other expats. I'm sitting at Saxaphone jazz club as I write. The guy next to me works at the Japanese Embassy. We're sharing a few drinks and exchanging contacts. There's good people everywhere in the world.
I've never ever seen anyone cut in my queue or seen it happen to anyone else, but yeah that doesn't mean it never happens in Thailand.
I agree, I've never seen it either. In many places in the world, people will try and knock you out of the way. A packed bus or train. We all need to get to work, etc.. But, in Bangkok, I'm very impressed with how polite everyone is. I've been a que in a fast food place in the mall.
A few people rushed over and walked straight to the counter. Started yelling their order. Myself and maybe 5 Thai folks couldn't believe it. I told them (in sign language, I didn't speak Chinese hint, hint) to get to the back of the line. I'm really glad things are mellow here.
@@EagerExpatthanks for saving the day for the Thai folks. Without you, they most likely would have sucked it up. There are times when tourists can play the "tourist card".
@@VintageThaiLadyBoy No I'm a mellow guy, but I don't tolerate fools. I don't care if you cut in front of me. But, cutting I front of my new friends I won't tolerate
goods vids please more :)
Thanks. I've put out a video everyday for over a year. Go back and see if any interest you. But, they're are more to come.
Just out of curiosity, do any of the locals ever get angry because you record them?
I try not to record people. I'll wait until someone passes me, etc.. But, when it happens, it hasn't been a problem. If someone comes around a corner, I usually turn my camera. If you notice, I rarely shoot for more than 4 seconds. I try to wait for a clear shot. Where people get mad is the red light area. I don't really do anything there. Maybe a 3-second shot from 75 feet away
9:21 Rambutan
Oh yes, I've had it at buffets. I wasn't sure of the name
Do you know the politically incorrect past life of Darlie toothpaste?
I do. That's a little crazy as late as the 2000's
