The BF1 sounds better but BFV is more realistic.
The animations: BFV fixed the BF1 problems (G98 rechambering animation, Mannlicher Clip, etc) but there are too many bugs
I like the new tatical reload on the Repetierpistole M1912, the soldier actually catches the remaining bullets on bfv
I prefer BFV's animations, or at least, the ones unique to it. They seem so much more natural to me, BF1 seems a tad robotic in comparison at times, like with the double barrel and the rifle GL.
What was the problem with the gewehr 98's bolt in bf1?

Yeah. I've seen stuff like that in other games too, but it's gotten fixed. I'm sure they're getting around to it.

I'm not hating on bfv by any stretch of the imagination but I still think that bf1 he much better lighting and sounds and is just over all much more shall I say clean or polished

There not entirely the same, there are some minor tweaks from here and there that you might not notice at first.
Well both Battlefield V and Far Cry 4 use their predecessors engine. So using its assets are a time saver.
Though this fact makes Battlefield V's broken launch look even worse as the dev team had a solid platform to launch from, yet their game is barely passable.
@@sargesacker2599 true, I can't believe how people would find the games current state exceptable. DICE should departure from EA, as they really do care for their games unlike EA. So maybe we could get a remaster of this game, which doesn't ruin historical accuracy for an agenda and comes with everything we were promised!
What about mocking bf4 and hardline for using bf3 animations?
I guess the only positive I can say about bfv is that while the lighting is a bit too bright,I like the fact they fixed the viewmodel fov.for example,notice how close the weapons are to the character's face and then notice how far the weapons are to the person's face in bfv,which imo is way better because your able to see more of the screen without the weapon getting in the way

IMO (I need to stress that this is MY OPINION), Battlefield 1 had much more smooth animations, more photo-realistic lighting, and had better sound design - Idk I guess I just like the echo. Not to say that BFV's (insert whichever category here) is bad, I just prefer BF1.

@@bigsmoke8816 Oh, I thought we were just sticking to the subjects of the video. Well, in that case, I've heard that BFV has loads of bugs in the state it's in now, especially when compared to BF1's launch. However, that's the best I can give you considering that I haven't played the game.

The textures on the skin of the hands looks better in BF1. BFV hand textures don't seem to have any roughness on them and look incredibly flat, like just the albedo and normal maps are applied. It's weird. Model wise I think the BFV hands are a little bit better since they don't have the unusual bulbous look of the BF1 hands (especially around the thumb)

Reloads and animations goes to bf1 all the way. But shell ejections are fixed(synced with the bolt) in bfv. And let us not forget the near perfect explosions in bfv.

The way he bolts the G98 in BF1 is really weird but I can’t put my finger on why
well remember the G98 is a 90 degree bolt. If you ever fire a Mosin or an Arisaka Type 38 it's kind of awkward and you can leverage the rifle to assist in loading.
Also the Mauser 98 (G98) is a much longer rifle. The Kar98 is a shortened version originally cut down for use by Sturmtruppen in World War I. The exact 98 model was the Kar98AZ, later on in WWII they used the Kar98k.
This feels like bf3 vs bf4 because of the colors in the games
I don't get why Bf V has so much hate, the sounds are soooo much more realistic on V which for me is a good thing, not saying that 1 sounds bad I mean this isn't Call of Duty am I right haha and the graphics saying that V looks like plastic? 1 looks much more dull just look at the shovel again not saying that 1 looks bad just saying that V went to a much more realistic gun sounds and detail look. DICE really can’t handle the yearly dev cycle.
A lot of WW1 guns were used in WW2 and I’m fine with developers reusing assets if the game is fun, which BFV isn’t.

Geez. So many reused animations. Even Battlefield 4 used a lot of different animations for the exact same guns that were in Battlefield 3, so seeing this vid kinda makes them look lazy.

People are saying battlefield V looks like shit people need to think about how these are 2 different deserts and malnutrition was a problem during ww2 and that’s may be why the hands are skinny.
If BFV had BF1’s sounds but kept BFV’s animations (minus the 1912 pistol, Browning auto 5, MP-28, and also fixed the ridiculous Lee Enfield bolt animations) then I’d say it’d be perfect.

I don't understand the issue with this. They're the same weapons, it wouldn't matter if it was used in around WW1 or WW2, with the exception of being another variant for the time period. The way I was taught to reload my M-16 is pretty much the same way my Dad was taught to reload his M-16 20 years before.
People just see it as being lazy
The reflections on some of BFV’s Guns make the textures appear off. While the details are wayy better in BFV on the Guns I believe that the light, shadows and reflections in bf1 are much more realistic. If you had BFV detail bf1 lighting but without the odd contrasting, I’d think it’d look perfect
I play both of them. I'd say that both looks great. However, I like BFV a little bit more. But the hands look a bit flat
People there is a reason why bf5 came after bf1, to make a improvement and while bf5 is not finished yet unlike bf1

Guys before you say something play the game. I also see that here textures looks worst but im game is another thing. Textures are better defined and there is an option which improves so well sounds. With the last patch reloads everithing is so better

If you've actually played BFV you would know how differently it handles and plays
Bf1 is more detailed and realistic animations in bf1 only. Bf1 is the only gun that the most game were is being peaked. Only bf1 game details were peaked already in 2016. That should be bf5 instead bf1. Bf1 is better than cod ww2, bo4, and bocw. Bf5 just reused bf1 animation in almost of guns. Because it’s 2 years later but 1 year different between bfh, and bf1 improved a lot.

how bout BF4 that recycle many of BF3 animations? why you dont complain? if its ok its alright to use the same animations. call of duty mw3 recycle alots of their animations from the mw2 and noone complain. well you can just leave if you hate the game so much.
Im not complaining about the animations but rather about the recycling of weapons which doesnt really make sense because BF1 and BF5 are set in two differnt world wars more than 20 years apart. Aside from that, BF4 had way more weapons and Options for customization at launch. People like you who defend this bs are the reason dice and Ea will continue selling recycled, buggy messes, which is a shame because the basic Gameplay foundation of BF5 is actually a lot of fun.

Also many nations reused almost all of their guns from WW1 so it makes sense to bring back those weapons. Plus if a game reuses assets but is still fun, it’s fine in my book. But BFV isn’t fun.
