Hairspray, hairspray, hairspray!
Truly, it is the one fool proof way to make sure that it won’t roll down on you during the big night. I was a gymnast for 19 years and it’s how I got my Leo’s not to ride up on me during my competitions. Spray your midsection heavily with hairspray, and then put your undies on and hold them there in place until the hairspray dries and then get dressed as normal. Should definitely do the trick for you!!!

Kylie if you’re nervous about your strap breaking you can pack a tiny sewing kit or needle and thread to give you peace of mind. If small enough you can put it in your clutch

Your dress is stunning Aubrey. Leave it the way it is because you've got the slit. It's not gonna trip you leave it. The way it is, it's gorgeous.
Beautiful dress and you look stunning Kylie. Just a few sewing tips. Brinkley could have easily sewn your straps back on to your dress, quicker than hand sewing. I’m not surprised your Mom broke a needle as I teach a sewing class to some girls and safety pins were purchased. The metal used for the safety was so weak we bent them in half and trashed the rest. I got a box from a older close family friend and no binding at all. You could feel the difference in the metals. Also another tips a former co worker taught me for hand sewing. Double thread your needle so you have four strands of thread as you sew at once. It is stronger and you won’t have to sew as many times. Enjoy Cheer Awards and Hope Crazy Middles wins!

Shelly needles today aren't made as well as the ones 10 yrs ago were. Even the ones used on the sewing machine are more flimsy.
Theres a rollon glue for compression hose at medical places. Works well n washes off afterward.

I ordered some elastic from Amazon for my spanx it had a rubber backing that goes against your skin to stop them riding up or sliding down you just sew it in but I'm sure you can just buy the rubber glue on its own to just put on.
