Mic Not Working In Windows 10 And Windows 11. You Need To Set Up A Microphone In Settings

These mic settings will fix computer Microphone problems very easily.
If your computer microphone is not working in Windows 10 or Windows 11, here are a few steps you can take:
• Check microphone settings: First, check that the microphone is properly connected to your computer and that it is set as the default recording device in your sound settings. To do this, right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, select "Open Sound settings," and then select "Manage sound devices." Make sure your microphone is selected as the default recording device.
• Check privacy settings: Go to your Windows 10 Settings, select "Privacy," and then select "Microphone" on the left-hand side. Make sure that the "Allow apps to access your microphone" toggle is turned on. If it's already on, try toggling it off and then back on again to reset the settings.
• Check app permissions: If you're still having issues, make sure that the app you're using has permission to access your microphone. You can do this by going to your Windows 10 Settings, selecting "Privacy," and then selecting "Microphone" on the left-hand side. Under "Choose which apps can access your microphone," make sure the app you're using is turned on.
• Run troubleshooter: If none of the above solutions work, you can try running the Windows 10 "Hardware and Devices" troubleshooter. To do this, go to your Windows 10 Settings, select "Update & Security," and then select "Troubleshoot" on the left-hand side. Scroll down to find "Hardware and Devices" and run the troubleshooter.
• Update drivers: Finally, if you're still experiencing microphone issues, try updating your microphone drivers. Go to your Windows 10 Settings, select "Devices," and then select "Device Manager" on the left-hand side. Select your microphone under "Audio inputs and outputs," right-click on it, and select "Update driver."
