My laptop is starting up really really slow. And eventually when you see the desktop, the laptop is thinking like madness for several minutes. Like 20 to 30 minutes😣😣
Sometimes the mouse-arrow is faltering. Most of the times it freezes ir restart the laptop by itself!! Very fking annoying. Laptop ive like +/- 5.5 years.
If i go to task manager. The processor has the most kind or red colour. It jumps from like 92% - 97% then 100%. Between that range. If I feel slightly next to the mousepad on the laptop. It feels kind of warm. Sonething with the cooling paste or something like that?

For all those who have this problem: once it freezes, don't do anything. Just let it become responsive then try a solution. Don't try to force shut down or it will take a long time to boot or possibly corrupt your windows. Happened to me, I don't want it to happen to anyone elses. Hope that helps :)

I immediately start the task manager as windows started and if some application becomes unresponsive, I click on 'End Process' for that application. If none works then please try these: 1) Run system file scan (don't ignore this as this may sound as a basic and less likely way but I would like to tell you that it worked for me feel bad why I didn't do it earlier), 2) Make sure super-fetch (SysMain) service is running it improves a lot of system performance. 3) While SysMain usually improves performance it may sometimes be the culprit itself. Go ahead and try disabling it temporarily, if that works (now don't just be a speedo wait a minute for your pc to take a breath and then check it) and if it doesn't enable it again.

In my task manager I noticed that the system kept spiking up in usage randomly and my disk usage was consistently at 100% without running anything but the task manager itself. sysmain is an app preloader, its helps load the app faster so you can use it quicker but disabling it will make it more longer to load and ready for use but it would boost the performance of using the app and stop from frequent slight freeze and less lag.
Sysmain marks app you frequently use though so it will preload marked apps,so basically its safe to disable it

Thanks for the detailed video…None of the solutions worked for me but i came across another fix from Microsoft community..change your power plan in power options and toggle between the balanced , power saver and high performance plans..keep task manage open alongside and monitor your hard disk usage..it got to 10% for me on high performance plan ..

trying this after two years of suffering from 100 disk,, i've watched so many videos and googled it so many times and none of them worked for me. there were two unique tricks i seen in this video, so if it it works, i thank you so much

@@AE-or7xd haha, most of the ones i tried didn't work for me, but literally just google 'how to solve 100 percent disk usage',, theres so many websites about it along with rare solutions. sadly, none of these have worked for me, the most it's done is went to 0-10 and then spiked up to 100 again

Very good informative video I must say to the negative commenters this video has helped lots of people and some times it failed to help I personally have used all the fixes during my work day and also had to replace the hard drive with a new ssd which also fixed many computers. He made the video in his own time to just help people please remember this before posting negative comments

    First method worked for me.
after disabling the win search it instantly solved the disk issue :)
Had 2 days to sit and fix problems on win 10.
    From Win update not updating,
to corrupted files , to Hdd 100%:
All 3 issues now fixed and i feel proud of myself!
