    You are an amazing man and artist. I started working with sheet metal around 17 years ago. I made duct system for heating in new homes. I had to leave my work several years ago when I lost muscle strength and balance from a neurone/muscle disease. I lost my way, my sense of purpose and direction. I didn't know how to live this new life that I didn't want any part of. Recently I had been considering picking up my tools &maybe just do some easy sheet metal projects. And tonight i searched RUclips for something that might catch my eye. You can see where this is going. This video was the 2nd one I came to & what a breath of fresh air you are. You helped confirm that l am heading in the right direction. For the first time in many years I feel hopeful. I won't be able to do what you have done, it's beautiful work you have done, but I will create...something...anything. Thank you for sharing your thoughts in this video. You have made a difference in my life. I feel hopeful, something that I lost along the way when my world got turned upside down. Simply, I can only say thank you; which feels totally inadequate. A new subscriber (and friend) from North Carolina, US.

      Finlay Norris hi, we are so much smarter and gifted than the schools made out, I think schools need to inspire children in the direction they want to go and protect the childrens works. This would be better for any country cause of so much more happiness. :-) like Lazzé. Sorry to here about them loosing your works brother.

      Brian Rogers hi, hope your doing well enough. I have similar disabilities and found good tools and machinery that helps with our passions and makes it easier to work like a hydraulic press you can fit up so much helpful tooling for this type of art. And a linisher, bandsaw, floor crane and stuff like this is awesome, and especially a work bench that you can fit under with your favorite rolling chair. Good luck my brother :-). This stuff gets the heart going. Regards From Terry. Be strong.

    Lazze, You're tallent and selfless sharing of knowledge elevates and insprires many to attempt seemingly impossible tasks. It is refreshing to see, in this world of constant self promotion never ending sellouts that you provide this awareness that anything is truly possible to those who seek it.
    To plant a seed of knowledge and witness the ensuing growth is a very rewarding process, one which you have truly mastered my friend.
    Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
    Regards, Tim Bennett.

    Lazze seems to be a really nice guy! I don't do metal shaping next to some easy bending - but I love to watch his skills every time. When I saw the GTO for the first time a few weeks ago, I could'nt believe it. Such a beautiful piece of metal art! I felt a little sad about just having a half car - but now I got the intention and it feels right. Lazze, please keep doing your stuff - it's really cool to watch it! Greetings from Berlin! :)

      He is. I did his class when he still was in Sweden, in 1999. Great guy, amazing teacher. He can read a sheet of metal like nobody I have ever seen, and he can explain to you why it behaves like it does, which is the most important. Do his class and prepare to have your mind blown. Like one of his more well-known pupils once said; "Do that course and you lose all respect for the metal. Because you know that you can shape it into ANYTHING you want". Me, I can say that I learned more about sheet metal shaping in 2 hours in Lazzes shop than the previous 10 years of testing, book reading and bashing sheets myself. He is THAT good. :)

    • @WestBerlinCustoms
      @WestBerlinCustoms 7 лет назад

      1999 is way back and it must have been impressive when the class is still in mind. :) But I believe every word about the teached skillz. I would try to be part of a class for sure, if I would'nt be a 'metal shaping amateur'. Oh and I am from Germany, so there are a few miles between me and Lazze's shop. ;) But I think I understand, what your described. I work a lot with self adhesing vinyl - and you have to become a feeling for the material and to understand how it behaves in different situations. With this knowledge it's possible to use 'the behavior' for the perfekt shape. I'll keep watching! Cheers, TOBi

    I just discovered your videos and have watched quite a few of them. I want to thank you very much for making these and sharing them on RUclips. I have already learned very much from watching your instructions. I've been thinking about building a body for a truck chassis. The truck is a 1990 For Ranger pick-up. But I want to build a new body for it that looks more like an antique Ford pick-up from the 30's. I'm not looking to make a precise replica of an antique truck. I just want to make something that has a 1930's look to it. Your videos have been very inspirational. I've done a lot of bodywork in the past with hammer and dolly so I have some experience. But now I'm thinking of getting a Shrinker, Stretcher, English Wheel, and a Bead Roller now that you have demonstrated how useful these tools can be.
    So if I go bankrupt buying too many tools I'll have you blame. (ha ha)

    Thanks Lazze, that is a nice looking car, the lines sort of looks like a corvette. You did a nice job on it. Go check out Ford hemp plastic car, the body style of the car looks like crap but the material is really cool. It is 10 times stronger than steel and 12 times lighter than steel, and looks nearly indestructible.
