The Sims really should have taken the opportunity to make a "until death do us part" pack. Weddings AND funerals!
Sound like something they would do as an excuse to re-release the pack (without all the bugs).
Why would they do that when they can sell them separately for double the profit?
They already did it with this pack. Get married while someone dies because weddings take forever and all their needs have depleted.
And loosing another opportunity to get double benefits from selling it separately? No way!
That sounds like something they would have done in Sims 2 or 3 before EA started trying to scam us

First Jim tried to kill a pregnant vampire, forgetting the pregnancy basically means immortality.
Then he tries to split up a couple so he can have someone to marry... forgetting he was already engaged.
Forgets to ask people to be his sim of honour before the wedding.
Then forgets to change into his dress.
I know half of this is bugs from the pack but I do think Jim might... might be going slightly senile. His centuries are finally starting to catch up with him.

after rewatching this episode i just realized there is a frame where he is a plant at around 10:55
he actually did die at one point, not sure when or how he came back, but he's a plantsim at the moment. Maybe the randomizer episode? I know that's why Jim's a celebrity alien in this episode
Kevin's mods bugged out the game. First Namr originally died of starvation, but the bugs caused sims to die of starvation to survive.
@@AshleyAmbrose94yeah to be fair he has in fact died at least once and been a cursed abomination, and the fact he was removed from the main household (through the death I think?) and ageing is off now will have significantly improved his odds. I like to think some shenanigans happened offscreen to return him to “normal” while Jim was working on Turg’s prosthetics after the bombing.

I played it yesterday for the first time and I was so frustrated at how unplayable it was. The key features of the game are broken: walking down the aisle, throwing rice, guests show up in their everyday outfits, officiator too busy dancing to officiate the wedding, the bride & groom's vows get interrupted by guests conversation, the selected wedding cake never shows up.... Unbelievably, weddings were BETTER before this pack. At least everyone showed up in formal outfits and the vows took place.
First name still being alive is actually the biggest plot twist ever. Jim's Sims 4 is truly the best soap opera of its time.

To be fair, I would legit buy a funeral pack because I like realism in my game. I usually stage funerals (as far as the game will allow) by holding a formal party and getting everyone to mourn the recently deceased. I also use the podium to give eulogies. A pack that allows for actual funerals, cremations and wakes would be an instant sell for me.
I'm perturbed by the lack of comments discussing the power-napping sequence LMAO. That shit caught me so off guard and had me in tears bahaha. The angle, the voice over, Jim, it was all too perfect. I really commend for that shot honestly, it was well worth it!
Some of the features of the Funeral pack should be being able to have your sims write a will or convince someone else to put you in theirs

i was really hoping by the time you got around to playing this pack it wouldn't be so broken but i shouldn't be surprised that you managed to make an entertaining video out of such a clunky pack.
p.s. it wouldn't let you invite sims to be guest of honour etc because you have to ask them individually first in gameplay and then you can go back and assign them roles. just in case this marriage doesn't work out and jim gets married again (which is likely, lets be honest.)
