Beautiful rainbow. Fishing little streams like that for trout is my favorite way to wet a line.

Awsome vid as always hope to see a crappie vid soon being that it's march and possibly a recipe using that stock.

Funny you said that. Crappie is always the first sign of spring for me. I caught them pretty good after work the other day. Forgot the camera.
Hopefully I can get a vid of some crappie. Thanks for watching 👌

You have a beautiful stream. It's a good rainbow~. if stonefly around, can't we use a dry hook?

Thank you so much! I think you are definitely right I could have been using a dry fly. Thanks for watching. I have to check out your channel

Awesome brother! I haven't fly fished in a while but definitely going to try it again soon. I'm actually making a custom spinning rod setup to fly fish - want to try something different and have another method to try in case the fish aren't biting artificial lures and I don't have my fly rod with me! 👍 🐟 🎣

Hey Joel! Thanks for stopping in brother! That sounds like an interesting idea to make a spinning setup for flies. Could be really cool! Spring hopefully will be here soon. I know you guys up north nj might be getting a pretty good snowstorm tonight though.

@The Line Cook yea they said we may get a foot of snow.....it's ironic - we had no snow all winter and in the the past week 2 or 3 snowstorms. You just never know! ❄️ 🌨 ☃️

Ooooh the stock looked awesome, what would you cook with that?

Ayy thanks Peter. It’s a nice way to reduce waste. You could make soup, base for a chowder. Really any application you’d use stock. Maybe a base for steamed mussels or seafood dish. All kinds of possibilities.
