Fast food restaurant prices have gotten ridiculous. I don't know how much they are where you live Kurt, but here in Central Oregon the stinkin big mac is $7.00 and you don't even get two pieces of cheese... Speaking of cheese, if you order an extra slice of cheese they charge a dollar for it.
Yes Jefferson is a good small town my sister lives there we went there a lot growing up the casino was a big improvement for the community and everybody lives there jobs. Nice job for the children at the show

You can use people version or get dog kind, or use bute, it’s all the same. Macy was limping badly the other day we just split a half of a 325mg and gave to her in some cheese, helped her greatly. Google is your friend for doses. :)

Microwave trial & error'd the oats:water for my oldfashioned oats. Comes out between the soup & the concrete. Microwave has a 2-step program (don't modern ones have that any more?). '10-High' long enough to get it boiling, '3' to keep it simmering without foaming over, covered, for about 10 minutes.

I'm not complaining when as I write/tpye that because of the work I did required of me to work rotating shifts thus denying me the kind of time the Schmidt family has enjoyed. Think about doctors, nurses, firefighters, the electric companies, police and military . . . no different than my schedulals. In time the Schmidt kids will come to really appreciate their good fortune living a they are now. Great family living a great life. It's beautiful and heartwarming. Best to you all.
Hey Kurt the kids are growing up fast. My boys are 25-30 I remember taking them to the park and stuff and now they drive me around. When I had a garage, my wife said it was cleaner than the house and why I didn't clean the house that good. lol Congratulations to the kids and Thanks for sharing!

There is something else at McDonald's that's a cheaper addition... the Southern sweet tea with lemonade. It's $2 here but mixed it's not too sweet and still has a tartness. I knew as soon as you started the leaf blower the Harley was going to need a bath! I like thick oatmeal too. In 81 they went to work for NA as Owner Operators hauling new freight dad always said he wanted to be paid to see the country
With the Oatmeal, first thing, get rid of the frying pan and get a deep pot. One just you, about two cups of water salted and boiling. add add enough oats to almost get the water covered. Keep stirring on low heat. Add water if you need to or keep boiling until the Oates are as thing as you like. I never measure that stuff. Just go by looks and 5 or so minutes of boiling. Add butter. Personally, I treat oat meal like grits. Eggs and bacon. Not some sweet crap.
I love oatmeal and I too dislike runny. So the ones for the microwave: put in less liquid or cook ten to fifteen seconds more. It is cooked and thick. Congrats Troy and Paige, looking good 👍
When you see a DPU (Distributed Power Unit) Locomotive on those long trains, that is typically the 'middle' of the train. I laughed when I saw you used a cup of oats, that is a lot of oatmeal.
