Mind blowing use of selection tool to invert selection! I never thought about it in all these years. Thanks.

Never gotten that before, but as long as you're enjoying the videos :) Thanks for watching!
Greate video. I learned something new today with you. Can you please do a the steel W33 x 141 I beam bending with different high points? Thanks you.
i wait you every week..
please keep posting
Will do! Thanks for watching!
im pretty sure you could have done the same with curviloft but idk if it would stretch the object. bu you just need to draw the face. note: curviloft is a pain but once you get the grid to match properly you are golden. never heard of shapebender. ill make sure to download it.
I don't think you could re-create the arch shape with all the detailing with curviloft. You could probably create a draped face, but the actual arching pattern probably wouldn't work so well. Also, make sure you download "FredoScale," not shape bender for this one. Thanks!
Thanks for the tutorials
Thanks for watching!

thank you for your help!
Thanks a lot ))
appreciate!
hey this helped me a lot! thank you! my only problem is that in the project that i am working on i wanted something like this to be the roof of a curved ramp with different levels. Do you think is possible to do it with this technique?
Sounds kind of tricky - might be more of a curviloft/curvishear thing...
@@Thesketchupessentials Ok thank you i will check it out.
hello and appreciate for the tip and now please if you can tell me how to install it ,because I ve downloaded from the site you suggest and dont know how to install .
if its no problem for you ,please

Hi there! SketchUp just put out this video on their official channel that might help you - ruclips.net/video/AFwVmc8G33Y/видео.html - Thanks!
plugin seems to have issues with 2018 version of sketchup
I don't think so - I'm running 2018 and it works fine
this one helps! thanks a lot! my problem is, it changes the scale after bending. how do i maintain the scale? like for example a have a box with a length of 4 meters after a bend it it becomes 2ish. idk y can u help me with that? :D
Well, if you bend something in half, it's going to be half the length :p ... You could either model your object twice as big knowing that it's going to get bent, or you could use the tape measure tool to re-scale your object up to the size you like after the fact. Does that help?
Really great video! But FredoScale isn't working in my Sketchup Make 2017.
Hi Ariella - have you tried updating it to the newest version? Or uninstalling and reinstalling? I'm running Make 2017 and it's working for me. Thanks!
as always amazing
nice work bro :)
Thanks for watching!
when I try to get the plugin, it says page not found?
Just updated the link
is there any bend tool plug in that work on sketch up 2016?
Does FredoScale not work with SketchUp 2016? I haven't really tested it, but I thought there was some reverse compatibility there. Thanks!
i couldn't find the multiple offset option in my version. what to do?
Did you install the extension multiple offset? More info on that here - ruclips.net/user/edit?o=U&video_id=fs3QXjABfm0 Thanks!
great viideos..keep posting please! !:)
Will do - thanks for watching!

The extension locations are listed in the video description. Thanks!
6:02 .... Up Down, Up Down, .... Up Down :P
Lol! :)
mine doesn't bend, it just flips heeeelp
i love u
Lol :) Thanks
would have been nice to know you literally cant use this unless you pay for the extensions. spent forever to figure this out just to not be able to use this.
nice video but too much talking, make it nice and short, and just get into the subject please.
Before creating tutorials, learn how to talk less.
You talk too much unneccessary stuffs.
There are a bunch of channels on RUclips with SketchUp tutorials with no talking - you're free to go try those out instead
