great vid man, thank you. recently modeled a dome roof and used some similar techniques. you live and learn for sure; I had a few attempts to get a good method. But your methods here are great, nice and straightforward.

I probably would have struggled a lot more with this about 6 months ago - the more you model, the more stuff you learn how to do! Thanks for watching!

We could use that for a greenhouse too, but it would be expensive to build those wooden arches. Not that it can't be done, you could make them wooden trusses instead of solid beams, that way they can be made up of smaller wood and also be bent and hold its bent shape easier. Literally put a veneer over the laminated truss, It would be similar to building a small ship with the curved wood. but it would have to be drawn in that way so you know how to build it.

'Lines to Tube' is a wonderful tool for lattice structure work. I particularly appreciate that even all intersecting lines will turn to tubing, which is why it's so useful for lattice structure. However, with 4 sides it creates a diamond profile instead of square. Would there be an easy way to create true square tubing from lines?
