What exhaust do you have on the truck? Ive got Borla Exhaust Type S and love them. No drone. Also do you know if these parts are CARB compliant? Im in Cali, and they pushing CARB compliance hard. Makes it difficult to do any upgrades.

Have you experienced any header tick while driving? I did headers to my 2012 and the tick was fairly noticeable while the engine was under load, I now have a 2018 and am curious before I decide to do it again. Awesome truck btw, I have a white all terrain just like yours with the 6.2.

If you're talking about a difference in long tube vs short tube headers there is a difference. Typically short tube headers shine low to mid range and long tube shines mid to high range.
The catch can has been working perfectly. I'll empty it about every oil change. The plan is to upgrade to the 6oz I just haven't gotten to ordering it yet. Thanks for watching! 🤙
Headers are 100% worth it. After installing header the truck will obviously be louder but there are some exhaust systems that can quite it down. Some people even install headers and keep the factory catback exhaust.
did tuner tune tcm too? shes moving! i just got done installing a circle d 32-34 stall on my high country 8l90 transmission i heard i have to get tcm tuned to mess with shift points
i had got mines ecm tuned and shift points where the same and tuner even said they couldn’t add the tow haul button to downshift ig not yet on the 8 speeds did u deal with the same? did tow haul worked after tcm tune?
I am not sure about that. Reach out to Kooks Customer Service for more info. I do know tuning for 19+ is way more expensive than the previous Gen 14-18
Any estimates on tuning for the 2015 Sierra SLT 6.2L after long tube installed? Any issues w/problematic lifters, I've only done generic tune/programmer to shutoff /delete AFM/DOD full- time V8.
I did have a check engine light come on because I deleted the rear o2 sensors. During tuning they removed the check engine light. Factory wires were long enough to reach the bungs on the headers.

Rear O2 sensors are only used for catalytic efficiency, now that they are removed there’s no reason to have them on. They will cause a engine light from the cats being remove.
Who tuned it if you don’t mind me asking? HP Tuner? Diablew? Etc… Did you have to use O2 sensor extension to keep the CEL MIL from being on? Or do you know if they were turned off using the tune?

It isn’t a 1200HP Trail Boss and no i cant wait to spin all 4😂😂😂😂 Dont forget the Electric Exhaust control valves from Ebay to get Open headers on the fly

Yes I do slightly smell the 🌽 every once in a while. Not unbearable but yes non catted will definitely allow the smell of fuel

There's definitely a huge difference with all the mods done. With the TCM unlocked & tuned shift points & firmness are great!

It's a Texas Speed & Performance catback. 3.5" with integrated cutout. It's an awesome system!
Did you reuse your factory gaskets or the ones that came with the headers? And did it say ACEL without a tune
Set a cel. Stupid phone.
I bought brand new OE gaskets for the install and yes I had a cel light on. Once tuned it turned off

I've always bought Kooks and never had fitment issues. I can't speak for the others but I have read some have had issues with them.

Headers are 100% worth it. After installing header the truck will obviously be louder but there are some exhaust systems that can quite it down. Some people even install headers and keep the factory catback exhaust.
