You do a great job with the filming and editing of your videos. The music you choose is just the right touch.

I’m amazed really enjoying your videos only seven years worth of binge watching to go lol
Thank you for your vlog, good Luck
Just discovered this Sailing Channel - looking forward to binge watching up to present - so impressed with the courage and drive you have for this adventure! Have been a huge fan of SVDelos, RAN, Uma, Abandoned Comfort and Vagabond channels too!
A note on checking a backpack on an airline (you observed the backpack on the tarmac in the rain): the solution is ALWAYS buy a cheap duffle bag to put the backpack into - reason: airlines will not replace your bag, only the contents of your bag - so an expensive backpack will be unrecoverable unless, it is the 'contents' of another cheap duffle bag. Then, you can get, or treat, a waterproof / water resistant duffle bag that would protect the backpack from the rain on the tarmac. I put the backpack in a large plastic garbage bag and put that into the cheap duffle - double-bag it! This also keep the backpack from getting shredded in the airline conveyors when a strap gets stuck on something.
love your videos, I am in the process of fitting out a "Columbia" sailboat for a similar adventure. Gary
I love your videos...I want more... Please
So far so good.
You are the best sailor on youtube!!!
I am happy that you like them! The one for next friday is already in the pipeline :).
Awesome! You're an inspiration. Although I can't help thinking you must have been at least a little hung-over when you decided to go all the way to Panama and buy your boat. Wow, girl, you're brave. I'm currently pursuing a similar dream...working in northern Canada the last few years to make it happen. One more year (fingers crossed). Keep posting, vids are great.

You should be now for years sailing..
What did you do...?
I use to live in Giessen very long ago. I live in the Pacific NW now and I have a 32' Erickson
+saltyseascott I lived there for 2 years as well.
That's just insane that they made you buy another ticket, even though you had your boat right there. Tell you people do anything to make a buck off of someone. Still sad that you had to waste that money.
Wish all the luck in the world!! Its so hard to do things like that solo, need so much body and mind strength! Wish you all the best... Where do you gather strength form???
Thank you, Kyros Kiokas. I guess, part of the strengh is just pure stubborness :). And then it is nature, that fills my tanks up quite a bit. A good day outdoors clears my head of many worries and gives me new power. Or a good chat along with a cold beer shared with a nice soul defenitely helps, too :)
Finally, it is time to leave home and start to live the big dream. Saying goodbye to friends and family is not easy, though...But I am excited to get back to my little boat :)
@bsti72 enjoy 👍
that had to be a really hard day
What are you saying; they don't like backpackers?
Every time I return to Australia to visit my family then fly back to the Philippines , I have to have a return ticket ,,, it doesnt matter to where ,,, :-)
SAYING GOODBYE TO YOUR BOYFRIEND? Must not be the best relationship if he's staying?
What a fantastic adventure....
Why didn't your boyfriend join you on it????
You only live once.. Go for it.!!!

sounds like Panama is a scandalous country. you already have a boat and mentioned that you'll be leaving by boat and you still have to buy a plane ticket (ridiculous bureaucracy) I hope she unregistered her boat so that she isn't paying an annual fee (or every 2 years, don't remember) to keep the boats residence in panama and it's cheaper to have her boat registered in her home country. I think it's 2,000 Euro's to unregister the boat in Panama and 1,000 Euro's to register the boat in Germany. I know boats are sold cheap in panama, but some of them were abandoned, confiscated and probably even stolen in some form. I guess it can be worth it, if the price is right, and a person has the time, money to refit, repair the needs of a boat.
Hey there, the boat was originally and is still registered in Germany. The former owner was German, too. And boat registry in Germany is for free or relatively cheap at least, you just have to pay the attorney to veryfy the signing of the paperwork and it lasts a lifetime.
This boat for sure was not stolen or confiscated, as I have bought it from the former owner and have proper paperwork...There are indeed some abandoned vessles there...and yes, many rather cheap boats that you can then refit.
I had asked a question about the boat. I guess I'm trying to find out how you found it. German Registration, does this mean you had met the german owner ?
1:11it's certainly not some little wooden figurine that has kept you safe- it is indeed your real and true GUARDIAN ANGEL who does that. This is simply FACT- how is it that you do not know that!?
How crazy that people believe that little wooden amulets protect them yet refuse to acknowledge the REALITY of our guardian angels!
And some people don't believe in angels at all. We derive happiness and comfort from our family, friends, the beautiful possibility of a life well lived, and our own wits of course.
Hey sleepy head! Angels don't have WINGS. The ones with wings work for SATAN. Read the bible. Only God the creator can look out for you not petty demons. FYI.
@@seeer3240 Fucked-up god-freak. Go beat your slaves and shut up.
@@PDZ1122 maybe your the fked up one. Ever think of that? Better than being a satanic freak like you. Demon.
