    We use chicken fingers to cut up over green salad with ranch dressing. With the ranch seasoning you are using, it would really vamp up the salad. These look amazing. 🐓

    I am so glad that White Lily came on board with you. I love fried chicken. My Sunday meal will be fried chicken, potato salad, and green beans. My mother used to dip her chicken in buttermilk and self rising flour and then fry it in deep fat, and boy, was it good. I brine mine in salt water on Friday, then Saturday, buttermilk and then Sunday, I fry it. It is so tender. After the holidays, I am ready for good ole fried chicken. I just love to watch you.

    If in doubt rinse, if the smell still lingers put in a big bowl with cold water and 2-3 teaspoons table salt. Soak for 30 mins. rinse again if they still smell, toss. Sometimes it can just be surface blood that is turning, the salt draws it off. These fingers made this way are the "bomb."

    Happy birthday, Amy! Our daughter turns 19 on January 26. Interesting on what people chooses for their special dinners. My husband will choose your basic meatloaf (probably out of the Betty Crocker cookbook from the '40s or '50s) every single time. I can make meatloaf in my sleep but he thinks its is the greatest stuff ever!

    Hello Miss Amy. I googled chicken tenders this morning and came across your tutorial. I was going to make some this weekend, but after watching you, I got hungry. LOL I didn't have your exact ingredients: peanut oil, buttermilk, paprika, etc., but I improvised and they turned out pretty good! I am going to get your ingredients and make it just like you did though. My mother was raised in Hayti, Missouri and she could cook her behind off! Unfortunately, she never shared her recipes with me before she went to be with Jesus. I'm a 60 y/o veteran with grown children and grands, but listening to your advice on when to use buttermilk and egg soak took me back to my mama! Don't ever change! Thank you, I will become a subscriber. - First Sgt Harold, Lansing, MI

    This is how I cook my chicken tenders too. I have to say, White Lilly is very smart with their marketing. I had never heard of that brand even though I am from the south and many southern cooks swear by it. Being someone that doesn't consume "traditional media" I would have never heard of them even if they had commercials. I first heard about them while watching youtube videos for biscuit recipes. I decided to try it and have never gone back to my old brand. The lighter fluffy flour really makes a noticeable difference. I think it's very forward thinking of them to sponsor home cooking channels.

    I always rinse my chicken. I heard not to rinse chicken some years ago, but I still rinse mine... Sometimes our seasonings clump up because we season food when it’s cooking and some of the steam gets into the container.

    • @CS-06
      @CS-06 3 года назад +1

      My seasonings do the same, I found that letting them sit for a minute with the cap open before putting them away cuts down on the clumping.

    Thanks Chris and Tammy for the buttermilk vs egg dip tip. I never knew that about the difference when frying up boneless chicken vs bone-in chicken. What about chicken fried steak?

    Bosch makes excellent everything, I live in Danmark have since 06' and you see more Bosch appliances in people's homes than any other brand.

    I love the fact that you are a clean cook. There was a certain one on TV, that was so dirty with her food, I couldn’t watch her. What was the spice in the green topped jar? I have that pan, mine also has a lid, I just love it. Thanks Tammy as always. God Bless you and your family. You are very lucky to have a helpful husband. Carol
