Really helpful, Can you help me this below problem? I've two different workbooks how can I check for duplicates in Sheet1 from Workbook1 and Sheet2 from Workbook2
I am getting incorrect data returned. I am trying to compare company names in two lists to find the missing names. I used UPPER formula to make both lists capitalized
Thanks. How to identify multiple repetitions i.e 15 repeated names between let's say 6 worksheets? I want to do it for a lot of people (400) as well. Thanks in advanced.
When I go to the second worksheet, it doesn't let me select anything within the other formula, Google Sheets doesn't do it automatically. What do I do?
Type the formula out. Don't hit enter. When you get to the part of the formula to enter the range, use you mouse, go to the other sheets, click and drag, then continue with the formula.
It would be more helpful if you describe exactly what you did, the result you desired, and the exact output you received instead of the desired result.
@@ProlificOaktree just updated that I got it working, but didn't notice the comma insertion part of the formula, before selecting your range. Thanks for the video though- aside from that one small thing, very helpful.

Hi, thanks for this. Do you have a formula for highlighting duplicates from two different worksheets?
Thank you so much! Managing huge datasets and multiple sources of information, you just saved me hours of work.
Ooh yeah, you've gotta raise coming your way...
Hi, thanks for this. Do you have a formula for highlighting duplicates (Conditional formatting) from two different worksheets?
Hi, I tried it but I have a question the sheet 1 has a separate column for first and last then the sheet 2 they are combined. Will it still work?

Thank you, great and clear tutorial!
I made a third sheet and got the duplicates to show there, now is there a way to make those disappear from the first sheet?
Not really!
How do I apply this to large number of rows such as 1000? I can't really drag it, there's surely a quicker way?
Thank you! This was very helpful!

Only two at a time.

Did not work. EDIT: Got working. Did not see the comma insertion in the video, prior to range selection.
