Over the years I've ridden thousands upon thousands of miles on a bicycle, and until I got the Himiway Cobra I pedaled every bit of that myself. Looking forward to having a motor help me from here on out!
Yes, this video is a complete departure from what I usually do, but I decided to do this E-bike review because I was HUGE into bicycles for many years (and still am, somewhat) and I'm into electric vehicles as well (NOT by mandate, of course!) Mark, I wish I was 40 years younger as I love your primary business. You are a man that I really respect. Even at my age and having to be on oxygen I would still love to be able to just sit in your shop and watch you and your help work.

Mark u can just cnc ur own bike. U probably make a better one. Just make sure the battery doesn’t explode. Just saying

As someone who has built hundreds of bikes, you are doing a good job.
I haven't rode a bike since I broke my BMX back in the 90's,you could run naked in heavy traffic and this guy would still watch it! Only because you'll share some tidbit,and you're entertaining as hell
I just purchased this bike today and put 30 miles on it and I'm very pleased with this bike. Great video by the way!

YES, come to the dark side of E-Bike Reviews! It's hard to say no to the endless offers of E-Bikes to review 😂. Plus, they're a ton of fun, and I think your real fans won't mind whatever content you make. The E-Bike finally tipped me over the edge of actually using a bike to commute, and as much as people say they're "cheater bikes", I find a little bit of effort every day is far better than none at all.
I have their Long Range All Terrain Step Thru Electric Bike. So far -- it's a tank. With a proper up-right rider position( the way you ride cruiser motorcycles and choppers instead of being bend like a pooping dog (like sport bicycle riders do)), fat tires that eat any pothole, and really comfy saddle. Extremally happy -- 30km one way to downtown from my place, i.e. ~60km total commute -- no issues. And I still have extra 10-15km left in my battery. And this is unassisted mode( otherwise -- why do you need ebike, just buy regular bike instead). I also want to unlock controller/computer to remove d*mb 20 miles/h governmental speed limits. Really nice quality product.

Hey, Mark. I like you're style. I just bought my first ebike. (TIFGALOP ES 28) And I gotta tell you, I Can't stay off of it!! I'm 57 and I haven't had this much fun since I was twelve years old! I'm 58 and nearly your age, I appreciate the video's of guns, bikes and explosions with Edwin. The funny thing was you wore a helmet as a teenager, when nobody else did, and now that you are a 'goofy old guy" like me, you failed to see the practicality of a helmet, or the dangers of riding near thorns, LOL. I love the vid.

I just purchased this. I have a Vado 5.0 igh and a surly skid loader. Wanted something a bit more capable for when I’m riding alone or without the kiddos I should say. Can’t wait to saddle up on this. None of my other bikes have a “throttle” rather just assist when pedaling. Which I have no complaints about. But want to see what it’s like having a stand-alone throttle on top. Can’t wait! Nice write up btw

Hey Mark, please do a show on African "Wagila Guns". Apparently they're like some sort of badass spud-gun that shoots D-Cell batteries.
That's all I used to do when I was a kid/teenager. Then I joined the service, raised raised a family and had a stroke a few years back and haven't really got back into riding. I tried a couple years ago and there was no way I could even make it around the block. Lol. Yeah I'm definitely out of shape. But I know this much, I am still planning on getting one of your semi auto 50s. I just love the way you have them designed. Anyways you have a blast on that beauty, and stop crashing we are to ol for that. I was blown off the back of my trailer last week in the snow storm because the forklift driver slammed on his breaks and both bundles off osb came sliding off his forks and the top bundle hit me in my back and sent me off and almost landed on my legs. If I didn't do the really fast low crawl when I hit the ground, it would have. It landed 3 inches from my legs. Like I said we to ol for tumbling. Lol

Looks like fun, except for the crash. My favorite part was the Ferrari.
The thickness of the tires make it less maneuverable as I like but it's a very comfortable ride.

I carry extra batteries in a backpack for 120 miles+ on/off-road trail trips.
Probably a type A-. But then again it might just be my canadian enjoying seeing someone enjoying the warm Floridas weather. Two weeks ago we had a massive ice storm that took out power for four days.

@chevrofreak Unfortunately I think most Tesla drivers would disagree with you! I remember asking on a Tesla forum about what they thought the steering wheel cover was made from, and I speculated it was some sort of pigskin since my hands smelled like BBQ after driving. I got a lot of "Eeeeewwww grosssss..MEAT!" sort of comments. And I later found out that the interior was totally "Vegan", as if we were supposed to be worried about eating the fucking interior pieces. Of course it was a move to not offend the dildos who don't eat a normal human diet. No matter what, it's a GREAT car...the best I've ever had.
@@markserbu TWANGnBANG owns a Tesla, and now a Rivian, and I do know quite a few Tesla owners that are into guns, even some that you wouldn't expect. Many of them aren't vocal about it because of the Karen's in the Tesla community that are anti-gun, but I am not one of those people. Both of my Tesla's have bright yellow Don't Tread On Me license plates, and I am very vocal on social media about my love of both guns and Tesla. The more of us there are, the more there will be.

It has to be assembled? I want one that's already put together so all I have to do is just jump on it or get on it in some fashion as are you trying out. I don't want to put together.
The prices begin at $1,600.00, $1599.00 to be exact. For that price I expected to be fully assembled and I'm 66 years old soon to be 67 years old I'm not putting it together. One more thing here I'm fully disabled so I won't be riding this bike in the first place but had I have the ability to hop on a bike like this and ride it I was one of the assembled, fully.

Liked this video! Used to ride quite a bit myself also. Now you need to start mounting things to it. Maybe a rear rack with a small inverter generator so you can get more range? I'd suggest mounting other things, but you'd probably get demonetized again.

I’m group A. Lol. I’ve been biking all my life until I had kids a few years back. Started out BMX riding and moved into mountain biking when I got older. Carbon fiber is good stuff if you race but I don’t want to snap it and lose a bunch of money so I’ll stick with metal. Great video. Keep it up.

so if the battery dies does it become a "Himi-walkin" or a "Himi-pushin"? I remember them telling us in engineering school (back around 85) that the job of writing the manual goes to the "least needed worker" on the assembly line.

a cb, lol. and that's a cool set up. i believe it may be so heavy because you have 2 motors. the pedal assist motor is in the crank set, the rear hub is the other motor but I'm sure you can figure it out your an engineer

I rode a Schwinn Sprint (1980's) after my younger years of riding BMX. Once I got my license I pretty much quit riding. Now turning, 50 I'm looking to get back into riding some and have really been looking over e-bikes. I'm disabled so I figure that's going to be the only way I can ride again. Thanks for the review although you didn't really "review" a whole lot on the performance.😁 That said, I still enjoyed the video! LOL. I'll have to check these bikes out. What year was the Nova and was it your car? I had a red ‘71 with a small block my dad built and balanced. It would turn 7K no problem. I miss that car.
Wow...7K is awesome! Yes, that was my '73 Nova. Came with a 350 2-barrel and 3-speed manual trans. Put headers, Edlebrock Torker, Holly carb, Muncie M21 4-speed in it. Loved the hatchback, and actually had a bed back there! Bumper sticker was, "Don't laugh...your daughter might be in here". Great car!
love my radmini 4. i always enjoy seeing the latest greatest ebikes. himiway makes one of the better "value" ebikes, they have good power and top speed compared to a lot of tamer bikes.
Now, if you can just mount one of the .50 cals on it, THEN it's a true markserbu machine.

Wow I wish I found your video before buying (I watched well over 10 videos on it!!). I ended up getting the Cobra and am very happy with it. I don't think you can get a better ebike for $2400

Charging from the pedals would add drag, not usually considered desirable.
You should get 50 miles on that if you can keep it under 25 mph and use PAS

80 mile range seems a bit dubious. Especially since it is only a 20ah battery. I am building a 45ah battery for my trike because 20ah just doesn't cut it for range.Heheheheh...Fauci Flu... is about as truthful as it gets. I still got the front fork changed to a suspension one on my trike. One thing at a time. I used to live in Iowa...plenty of hills everywhere there. Kinda group A&B combined. I gave up my license several years ago so bicycle is my mode of transport now. The lighter the bicycle the better.
Bike mabye has potential for getting into pig country quietly. Room to mount a scabbard???
