I've recently read through a book that was compiled out of Beatrix's art work and I was surprised to see the range of different art pieces she did. I also loved how she made tiny zoomed in studies of insects, animals, fungi, and artefacts. It was super interesting and made me value her as an artist even more!
@@LynnePriceStudio Hi Lynne, the book title was: Beatrix Potter's Art, paintings and drawings selected and introduced by Anne Stevenson Hobbs. I hope you enjoy it if you managed to find it! :)
Your painting and sketch are stunning. I have always been a huge fan of children's book illustrators and of flora, fauna, and nature in general. And of course I love Beatrix Potter. My Nanny, (Grandmother), was named Beatrice, it is pronounced the same as Beatrix, but in America we spell it Beatrice. And my Nanny was my most favorite person in the whole world. I subscribed to your channel, and I look forward to seeing more of your artwork, especially if you continue in this vain.
This video just appeared on my screen...delightful to watch, love that you appreciate all of Beatrix Potter’s various interests and skills. I will binge watch your later presentations later today, but am disappointed that you haven’t posted in ages. One of my very favorite illustrators is Tasha Tudor. Have collected her books and art for over 50 years! Would love to think you will start posting again. Your work is lovely. Susan
This is heart warming Savannah! I love Beatrix Potter. I can still recall many a night reading them to my daughters before lights out. You set the mood and gave a nod to her many attributes. She was a remarkable person and well ahead of her time. I hope I can look forward to more of your videos. You are very talented. Thank you for sharing ✨🎨
So beautiful! And isn’t Beatrix Potter the best? Looking at those illustrations took me back to my childhood bedroom where I’d poor over her tiny books for hours just amazed at how these real life looming animals were doing human-like things!
For your first video, it was great. Loved the the mood and artistic atmosphere. Nice way to share more on Beatrix Potter with us. I cannot wait for more videos from you. What a nice way to start my day!
What a lovely little mouse! Well done, you! I've been indulging in Beatrix Potter art and documentaries these last two weeks, so I was very excited to have your video recommended to me by RUclips. I might have to dabble in a watercolor or three of my own in the spirit of all things Peter Rabbit. PS. Subscribed. ♥
@@savannahsparrow267 It makes me slightly melancholic, to think there is such treasure in the crevices of RUclips. Special channels like yours. Wishing you the best with your channel/work 💞.
this is a beautiful video...She gives Beatrix Potter her just due across all her legacies...not to mention a lovelye "over the shouldder" look" watching a true artist at work. Thank you -- and my tea is at hand! iSavannah, do hope you'll consider joing the Beatrix Potter Society, we'd love to have you among us!
Oh no! Sorry about that. My most recent video on painting a watercolour bird follows a similar process to this mouse, and includes some tips and tricks, if you’re interested ☺️

I would love to see you do one on Cicily Barker. I'm not sure on this spelling. She did the flower fairies books..🖌
Just perfectly wonderful!
Thank you so much!
